This pile of wood is certainly very high indeed, I’m sure it took a lot of effort and hard work. It would be amazing to see this much effort being channeled into Youth development, education, mentorship, community service, work skills, personal development and leadership of impressionable kids. Larne would be truly transformed economically, socially and culturally shining with success in the pride of its youth’s achievement if investment was made into the youth of this community. However, next year you’ll build a bonfire…….

Yes you must be seeing it as a total waste in your own opinion. Yet this brings community together and in tradition to celebrate the 12th.
