CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR REPLACEMENT REMOVAL MAZDA CX-7 CX7 MAZDASPEED 3 SPEED 6 2.3 DISI MZR
In this video we will explain how to replace the crankshaft position sensor or how to remove and where the crankshaft position sensor is located on Mazda with 2.3 Turbo Engine. We explained how to remove and replace the crankshaft position sensor on Mazda CX-7 but it should work on MazdaSpeed 3 and Mazda speed 6 with the 2.3 turbo disi engine since they all share the same engine. If you do not allign the crankshaft position sensor, your car may not start, may not run good, or you could damage your engine if you run it that way.

With the protective cover over the harmonic balancer, is it possible to count from the lower part of the balancer backward from the bottom to find the 20th pin or is it necessary to remove the protective plastic piece?

hello Your videos are awesome! i do have a question i replaced the timing chain and when i put the ballancer back on i put a bold in the hole of the crank pully and the car was turned over. it loosened the bold on the crank pully but now when i try to re align everything the engine only will turn 1/2 way around by hand. What do you think i need to do to fix this?

hi i have a 2008 mazda cx7 i have changed Camshaft Sprocket tensioner timing chain and the Solénoïde of the camshaft now i have a p0016 code just when the engine is cold and the engine tries to reduce its rpm after a one minute reset the code no p0016 ok but the engine is trying to reduce rpm but no code have you seen a problem like this before please answer

I have a 2007 mazda cx7, with an engine light on an code p0302 misfire, I've replaced the plugs, ignition coils are good, an injectors are fine, is it possible the cam angle sensor or crank sensor could be creating this specific misfire?

Just a heads up 2005 Mazda 6 2.3 auto part store packaging the wrong size gasket for throttle body went to 3 auto stores stores same gasket it's not thick enough

I just installed cam sensor i didn't do TDC Procedure. The car starts and drives perfect, actually took a few seconds to start today. I tried to find TDC and count 20 teeth, but I only have 15 teeth on one side and 14 on the other. Is there something I'm missing?
