Real shame we never had another Komodo Brothers boss in the series. Yes, there were the Komodo Brothers in Crash Bash's Big Bad Fox, but I speak mainly for the platformers.

i can still hear the spinning sounds. one of the komodos can spin much longer than crash! also, he spins with swords. woah will happen all over the place if crash duel that dude.

90s.... when "AAA+" games took only a year or so to develop, considered groundbreaking considering the hardware limitations, have solid core gameplay, soundtracks, and design overall.

The reason is because games are getting bigger and graphics are getting more and more high quality.

@@KrymsonScale Irrelevant per se considering the tech to produce said graphics advanced just as well. Fact of the matter is, devs had to wrestle and work with limitations which miraculously resulted in some of the most solid & creative approaches to completing a project. In contrast, devs nowadays have to wrestle with over ambition instead of tech limitations per se, often resulting in "release now fix later" plague of a work ethic.

@@residenthazard5 Not wrong, just adds on to my point, devs are too ambitious with game size and game's graphics. Really crazy what past devs did with so little. I agree with you there, but dev teams are a lot bigger on triple A titles so they try to always be more ambitious.

Many years I was so disappointed that The Komodo Brothers Joe and Moe are final appearance of Crash Bash and they were seen in Crash Twinsanity but I was so happy that my favourite characters Komodo Brothers are return in the new Crash game remastered after 17 years later and my deed is done.

Yeah I always like seeing that, also there's a statue of Komodo Joe in Crash Nitro Kart, on the Jungle Boogie track. While these characters haven't appeared since the PS1 games I find it nice how they have been referenced like that.

i'm happy that naughty dog introduced the komodo duos when i learned that komodo lizard originates from my country, indonesia. sadly, they don't speak indonesian. and they choose middle eastern style clothes instead of some south east asia style clothes. kinda weird design decision there. but still, they have one the coolest soundtracks in crash bandicoot series.

The statue of Komodo Joe? In the Jungle Boogie track in the console versions of Crash Nitro Kart. It's really easy to see, it's tall and if you look around you won't miss it.

Yes the swords are really from the arabic era's. If you look closely, the garments of the Komodo Bro's also look like arabic.

Well of course they're easy. But you have to remember, mostly kids were playing these games and hadn't developed the amazing hand-eye coordination quite yet. These bosses were monumental challenges.
