It’s crazy how they made this legitimately amazing theme for N. Brio in Crash 2 only for it to only play for like 30 seconds and for N. Brio to talk over it

I really miss Brio's old, high-pitched voice. His laugh was just fantastic at the time.

As a 6 year old kid I never understood that it was in fact Brio sending the enemy's after me, I always thought it was Cortex trying to knock me out and steal my crystals haha confused me, CSB is my favourite of the trilogy, can't wait for the remaster

I recently read a theory saying that brio was planned to be the main villain in crash 2. He brought up quite a few valid points.

Honestly I don't see Brio as an evil scientist but more of a disgruntled genius who has his stuff stolen by Cortex constantly thus causing him to act out. Because if he was really evil why would he even help Crash to begin with? I think if he went his own way and broke off the "Evil" side I think he would be an interesting support character to Crash and the others.

I wonder if the composers from the original Crash games stayed with Naughty Dog for the Jak and Daxter series. Cause this reminds me alot of Jak 2.

The most important developers of Crash from 90's Naughty Dog have left the company many years ago so basically it wouldn't be the same if ND came back developing Crash.

Before this I thought that Brio`s music from CB1 is great, after this it feels like rubbish. This is much better and more "epic". I think that this is almost the best Crash Bandicoot music I`ve ever heard, or in fact, what I will ever hear.

Not scrapped at all. It's just that the music had to be compressed because the PS1 couldn't handle the track in all its glory. Also, the Publishers thought it didn't sound "Videogame-ey" enough.

Well yeah, he wasn't a boss in Crash 2. I was just thinking of the possibilities if he had a role as a hidden boss, not just a side character that gets only a handful of lines. He did after all send all of those enemies after him for collecting the crystals that Cortex was going to use to enslave earth.

Actually I meant for Crash 2, although it wouldn't have hurt to have him in Titans.
