Very cool, seems like an old-school kids adventure movie. No need to make them more grown up than they have to be - just let them venture, discover, stumble, and grow as a group.

1:04 Funny how when in their in space suits on the surface, they're enjoying the 1/6 gravity by jumping high, but inside 1:44, they act like the gravity is 1G when they jump around. Being inside a pressured building does not give you 1G gravity.

Calling it now. The crater is just a normal old crater. I think going to the crater itself is a right of passage they all make. There isn't something amazing in the crater, it's just the journey and the friends that matter. That type of thing.

It's nice to see something about kids where they really are kids, we've all watched American shows about school children where the children are obviously grown ups like "Grease" and "The Breakfast Club" (Before anyone says anything I love those two films and I always watch them when they're on the telly 📺). I would quite like to see this so is it available on DVD 📀? Plus McKenna Grace is in this and she is an awesome, unbelievably talented and underrated actress.

I want to know - why is gravity normal inside the dome, but as soon as they go outside, it becomes 1/6 gravity, like it's supposed to be?

Perhaps some kind of gravity device in the dome? Then again, as a kids movie, they rarely explain stuff. They don't worry too much about explaining anything not directly linked to the telling of the story. Or it can simply be an writing issue. Such issues have been cropping up REGULARLY over the last couple of years in Disney productions. Which is weird since one the production companies is actually a company known for making okay movies.

On the inside of structures and vehicles they are heavily plodding when walking, just like on Earth. Only when they get outside, they start bouncing like in the Apollo Mission footage. Similar goof in Ad Astra as well.
