It’s no secret that I have been running Powerstop brakes for a long time. Throughout multiple jeeps and trucks, it has always been my go-to brand for upgrading the factory brakes in my vehicles.
With the Rubicon Trail trip coming up, we are looking at not only a lot of road miles in the old work truck, but also a lot of miles towing a trailer. I figured that since the high school jeep is mostly caught up on the to-do list, I should focus on this truck a bit and make sure that it is also ready for the trip.
The work doesn’t stop here though! With the new brakes on, I am much more confident that the truck will stop safely, but I still need to address the lack of trailer brakes and worn out tires before we leave.
