13:45 I respect Shoto so much here. He didn’t ask Endeavor to fight Toya. He just asked him to keep his two severely injured friends safe. Can you imagine what he’s going through? He knows his dad can’t fight Toya, but here his own brother is trying to murder him, his dad,and his two best friends. He chooses to step up and be the one to face him despite everything he’s feeling. I just feel so bad for Shoto in this situation. Seeing him cry hit me so hard.

A few episodes ago one of you said, "I think Geten is Toya. Definitely. I hope we get to learn more about Dabi too." And I had to hold in my laughter. Anyway, onto the episode AFO: No! Tomura, you must retreat! Tomura: I didn't hear no bell Little side note, in the manga, Toga never explains the big thing about Jin. Which is why Ochako is so confused. Because she's not exactly sure why she's talking to her. But she instantly regrets shutting her down once she sees that she was crying. And it pushes her to question why Toga was upset. Which is why the anime having Toga mention her reason for being upset last episode kinda takes away from Ochako's confusion and trying to understand Toga. Toga does love Ochako the same way she loves Stain and Izuku. So essentially, one of her crushes didn't get what she was trying to convey. Which has to suck. When this reveal happened in the manga, it actually out trended the literal US election. Dabi is built different. Also, it's really funny how Shigaraki gave that speech a few episodes ago about how heroes will destroy their families and Endeavor completely ignored him. Only for one of the biggest examples of him being selfish and destroying his own family to appear. Endeavor is trying to improve, yes. But that doesn't mean his past actions just go away. He added fuel to that poor boy's flames and then tossed him aside once he realized he wasn't the perfect child he wanted to create. And now, Touya will reduce everything to ash. Him and Skeptic pulled through with the tag team of the century.

Somehow my main question for that reveal is how much of Touya’s speech there was improvised.

Imaginé what Hawks thinks when Dani tells him he was indeed a Todoroki, the opposite of him, like, everything that hawks believes and fans whit, Dabi/Toya is the opposite so that was a shock and the fact that he reveals it that moment to Hawks, it’s because he was already planing to do it short after. Dude his story is actually so realistic, you’ll get the details later but a very realistic hellish story of the Todoroki family

In the manga Toya says " The past never dies" hits harder anime adopted it phenomenal too tho

Of all the times I've gotten spoiled on stuff for My Hero I was so glad that Dabi being Toya was one of them. I wasn't that surprised because it's been a popular fandom theory so it was just confirmation. I want to know the further back story outside of what has already been in the anime.

I think Dabi being Toya is like one of the most obvious and predictable twists i've ever seen in a manga xD

As I said, Zuff, you’d eat your words about Hawks re: Best Jeanist. Want some salt? Also, I know it must’ve been KILLING Rob to not spout off about Dabi/Touya! 😂 The voice acting with Dabi, Endeavor, and Shoto was so well done and so heartbreaking. It was award-worthy, for me. The pain in Shoto’s voice while he tried to get Endeavor to snap out of his panic attack was so painful and exquisite! One of the best “Todoroki” episodes in the series. And WELCOME BACK, Best Jeanist! (If you’ve read “MHA: Vigilantes”, you’d know where those cables came from.) It was so satisfying to see him show up.

Dabi is living proof that Stain's ideology isn't necessarily wrong. "Today's heroes aren't real heroes. They're just in it for fame, money, and/or power." is the general gist of it and... yea. Endeavor isn't a "real hero" because he's not saving people out of selflessness. He wants to surpass All Might. Something very un-hero like. He had a quirk marriage and was then eventually abusive towards his wife and kids. His wife had to go to a mental hospital from the trauma, his oldest son wants to kill him, his second son can't forgive him, and his third son, at the start of the anime, straight up refused to use "his father's quirk". Endeavor is exactly the type of hero that Stain hates and Dabi is a result of the "corrupt hero society" that Stain talks about.

Endeavor didn’t recognize Dabi as toya during the high end fight because he was over heated and his vision was basically shot at the point dabi showed up.

U guys are missing out on the real important bit about the episode. Dabi is a madman that could probably never realistically be saved but Toga was right there wavering and the hero’s failed again. Just like with Shigaraki they again turned their eyes away because they couldn’t understand someone who was crying out for help. The best thing that coulda been done as a hero for Dabi was to end his life but the best thing Uravity coulda done as a hero was to save Toga. The biggest theme for this show is hero’s averting their eyes from stuff they find inconvenient so someone has to finally break the cycle.

This was sadly spoiled for me pretty early on by "fans" as well, I was so pissed. I'm the nicest person ever but spoilers are the one thing that get my blood boiling. Those who spoil things for others are the most ridiculous types of people. I've had people spoil things for me that I specifically told them more than once I hadn't watched it yet and I don't want spoilers. They literally straight up said the twist after I said that. I can't even watch the movie (or show) because every time I hear the title of it, I instantly get pissed. I will watch things, then watch reactions just to go through the comments and tell people they should put a spoiler warning on their comment. That's why on a lot of my comments I specify and will write things like spoiler for those who aren't caught up to at least this episode. Or a general spoiler if I'm explaining a broader spoiler that happens throughout different seasons. I warn reactors to not read their comments for certain shows, too such as this one. Or to watch a bunch of episodes THEN post their reactions if they want to read the comments. They write things like who their favorite character is and why even if they haven't showed up by the episode that the poster has reacted to. Or they'll talk about their favorite arcs when the person only reacted to the 1st episode of the show. With this specific show I told myself it may have just been a fan theory so that I could still enjoy and watch this show until it was confirmed in this episode. Knowing things in advance makes "the big reveal" not feel as special. And I appreciate how well you always avoid spoilers when you've seen or know things that will happen. I've always thoroughly appreciated that about your channel's reactions.

Coolest episode ever! I will say though, a lot of people gradually find redemption in Endeavor, but I just can't get on board. An abusive husband and father, he will always be garbage to me and if Dabi is proof of anything, karma's a bitch.

Man, if this reveal happened in season 2 or 3 it would've actually been a little surprising.
