Since it was in the drop zone, that's technically not a tee point so even if you started there and holed it would it still be a hole in one? I'm new to golf sorry for not understanding

@@BucksCorner101 on typical par 3’s like this with a hazard - there is a “drop zone” that’s somewhere between the green and the tee box for where you go to play your third shot when you find the hazard with your original tee shot. You add a stroke for the drop itself, then re-tee in the drop zone, and hit your third shot (original shot + extra for moving to drop zone = on third shot now)…It’s considered a par since it was the “third shot” that went in on a par 3 and not considered a hole in one. The golfer in the video hit from the drop zone after hitting the original tee shot into the hazard, and then holed the drop zone shot for a par.

Expensive? Hardly. Play at a good muni, get good used (barely) clubs and you're in and out for cheaper than a night with pizza and a couple of beers. Sun, exercise and 4 hours hanging with your woman or a couple of friends and you're living the life. Priorities.

No one watched or read about any of these shots because except for the Majors, there was literally zero media coverage of the PGA this year. Not even when LIV wasn't playing.
