great thing about that aspect of RDR2 is they needed to invest in making that work so well because it happens to you, the player. as Arthur is blown up or falls his hat needs to not only fall off his head, fly off in an appropriate manner and land all in one motion but be retrievable making all hats NPCS or not behave the same way since they all are wearable and some even collectable. (aside from most hats worn by women, i guess Arthur's head is too chonky) i'd say more impressive than the blast blowing the hat off is being able to shoot the hats off and having your own hat shot off during combat

@@II_GzB_IItheres no way they wouldn’t in my opinion. Gta is what started the idea of having small details in games. At least they are what made it a standard. Alot of old games have small details but small details as a whole was seen as a bonus and not a standard.

Yeah it looks great visually but detail wise its a little over exaggerated and unrealistic how much the rain is effecting the water, it looks like the entire dang lake is vibrating. From what I could tell the droplets didn't seem to affect the puddles so my opinion goes to rdr2 on that one.

Watch Dogs fell off so hard, now it's only Cyberpunk left as an alternative to GTA games, i hope Unreal helps them through because Red Engine was made for Witcher games, it wasn't built for this type of games, unlike Bethesda who forced that medieval engine into space-sim.

​@AhmadWahelsa Unreal 5 atm isn't very optimized and the all of the games on UE 5 have been a disaster performance wise. Their own in-house engine was really good it's just that they tried so hard to make it run on the old gen that couldn't even optimise it for other platforms.

@@uzairahmed3103 Let's just hope for the best, i heard that they aren't abandoning the source codes, and might adapt them into Unreal, so if that's the case, it would be nice to have CDPR's D3D12 optimization like in Cyberpunk Every dx12 games i've played always have to compile the shaders first, but CP77 doesn't they just straight up throws you into the world within 10 secs of first time launch (if we don't count char customization)

@@8Bitzzz nah cyberpunk is doing better in design overall I feel like. the fact you can do basically all the missions on stealth is really nice and I appreciate it, and you generally have more freedom over the way you play, while GTA is too restrictive. I liked the GTA 3 missions more tbh as they also allowed you to kinda do it how you want, but ever since, you have mission areas which you leave and it just fails you.. it's too hand holding. Also the city in cyberpunk looks better I feel but tbh that's just design perspective, and tbh, unless you are really bae designer, it's almost difficult to make cyberpunk city less interesting than modern city

@@dauphongiiYep, your first point is what I mean with better level design. In RDR 2, you can get a mission failed if you don't follow the direct path; it's scripted and outdated. I hope they do it better in GTA 6. The second part is more of a preference thing. I prefer the dystopian world-building in Cyberpunk more, too. But RDR 2 is, because of the time setting, a lot more limited. However, the world-building and design are on the same level, maybe even better due to the higher NPC randomization and the stuff you can do besides your mission, than Cyberpunk.

@@8Bitzzz you're totally right! although the last point kinda comes down to settings of the games. RDR2 is set on a place with most villages not having more than 100 population, so it would make sense they would flash out most of the people in the world, awhile Cyberpunk is set in future in an overpopulated capital city where one megabuilding houses more people than the entire RDR2 map, so then again, they made the choice to make the people basically strangers to you with which you can't even communicate and if you try, they just curse you out. kinda giving the vibe of cold, dystopian future. both games fit the setting well and I wouldn't want them to change, I just think future Rockstar games could become less strict on how you do the mission. Cyberpunk did it, and they were still able to tell compelling story that is comparable with those of GTA or RDR games. although cyberpunk is an mmorpg and more of a be your own character, shape your own story, but tbh that just adds to replayability, while, and this might be controversial but it's something I believe, having just one, set, linear story where you have very little freedom is boring in gameplay perspective. at this point why not just make it a movie then?

If you look down while walking in real life you see Cyberpunk 2077 has the most similar view. But yes, the contact with the ground is so bad it breaks the immersion a bit for me too... Otherwise it's really detailed and looks great. This is why I think it's the best.
