Thenks for a video. I own a worksharp Ken onion edition with grinder attachment for like 5 years. Now I use it mostly for kitchen knifes and axes. On my opinion, advantages: -speed, sharpen a full set of kitchen knife within an hour, - sharpen different stuff like swords or axes. - it can fix a geometry of the knife if you broke a tip, or get cracks on the edge. It will not take so much time comparing to other sharpeners. - it can do a convex edge. Disadvantages: - it rouns a tip. Now matter how you sharpen. - you will never get a not curved edges.it will always some sort of convex. - creates a lot of dust so don't use it on a kitchen, work in the garage or workshop. - you need to be extremely precaisious when sharpening a thin edges like 0.2mm. most likely geometry will be ruined.better use more presice equipment like tsprof or edge pro. Cheers to all.

RIP headphones. I love every one of yalls videos! I'm the woman who always has a knife on her. Everyone asks to borrow it or for me to cut something for them. I own a Kershaw Blur Ken Onion. I've had it for 5 years. Its gone through so much and been around the nation. It has also cut me out of my car during an accident. I had the tanto version before that. It was difficult to keep from rounding the corner during sharpening. These might be the solution! My list for knifes right now is: Esee 6, Esee izula-2, Benchmade bugout, Dessert Warrior Kalashnikov, and Gerber Auto 6. Still looking for more to add to the list. Thanks guys!

I've had a field sharpener for about 2 years now and got one for my grandson, we love them. I've been thinking about the Ken Onion Sharpener for quite a while and just bought the mod 2. Used it on a machete first then a folder. If I would have tried to do the machete with a stone it would have taken forever. It is sharper than when I bought it new. Next week I will be going after the mower blades.

My biggest problem with the original worksharp was rounding tips even stopping when the tip just hit the belt it just doesn't haven't the tension you need.. I won't use it on my edc folding knives anymore but it's great for big choppers and machetes other than keeping the grind consistent like talked about it needs a tensioner adjustment

Buy a cheap Belk grinder for kitchen knives and buy the pocket sharpener for hand weapons. The precision adjust is a fairly good machine problems with it to make you have to buy accessories such as a little stand so it doesn’t bend, but for the most part you can put a decent edge on your tool

The precision adjust sharpener screams out for more grits. It isn’t a pocket sharpener like the field sharpener. I would like to see two diamond grits finer than the 600 grit. Like 1000 and 1400. Add a strop to the upgrade kit also. I bought a 3D printed replacement for the stones that you can put lapping films on. Mirror polishes are super easy.

I prefer the OG with more angle options, my Buck needs a 15 degree grind to be shaving sharp. Limiting with only 2 angle options is a bit of a downgrade but the price tag is difficult to argue

Benchmade is putting a lot of knives on the market with the 14 degree select edge. It's hard to find a 14 degree guide. It would be great if work sharp could add that to their sharpener

Have a 15, just add a few little pieces of paper to each guide. Measure it, boom 14 degrees.

If that was my family antique i would only put a fine edge on it and hit it lightly with an oiled fine pad done.

Sharpening knives _left handed?_ You think that sounds bad? I've got that beat ... I once *_BENT_* a drill bit! I was drilling a hole in an electrical box, and the bit just bent! How? It was a *_REVERSIBLE_* drill, and ... you guessed it!
