Lol i asked an exchange student from Japan if he watched any of the foreign KZfaq videos on Japan and he said that its become so common to have people wandering around with cameras / phones talking to ones self that they don't even blink anymore. But he also said that most people in Japan are big on -minding their own business lol. As long as you are not hurting yourself or others and not being disruptive/ destructive they leave you alone. But they usually say to ask before filming in restaurants and other types of business.

I will never understand why you don't have a pair of travel chopsticks (the collapsible ones) in your pocket all the time. Or a full set of travel cutlery, since you usually have a backpack with you. Same with Mikey Chen who is also sometimes lacking eating utensils. Heck, I'm an old white Canadian lady and I always have a pair of chopsticks in my purse, and a set of bamboo cutlery (knife, fork, spoon, straw, chopsticks, and a brush to clean the straw) always in my car's glove box.

I was almost shocked to see little piles of trash at that "shady" vending machine spot. Is that an uncommon sighting? I never have seen trash in any of your other videos, it made me feel the Japanese were more respectful than to pollute their community! I would have liked to see the popcorn machine be operable as it let you look inside to see parts of the product being processed! Thanks again for another fun video!

The wiring for that old building towards the beginning didn’t look the least bit alarming 💥😫🔥 I was actually really surprised to see all the trash though. It always seems Japan is mostly free of that sort of thing.

Absolutely love these vending machines Eric. The other part I enjoy is a good portion of the time u take things home to try and enjoy with ur son. That's because like here in the states we too have the shall we say unpleasant elements, due to this fact we cant have nice things... its really a pity too because when i visited Central London back in the early 2000s i was thinking a nice chippy or curry in a vending machine would have been nice to find, rather than navigate all the drunks for a late night snack.

@@Miss-Stakes London is a special place, well it use to be until Sadiq Khan took over and allowed the city to go to shite, however there are areas of England that would be safe to place vending machines but i dont think the folks that live out there would adapt to using them, everywhere they would benefit anyone they would be destroyed or vandalized. i really miss not visiting London, but i still have great memories...

Its sad to see the retro machines slowly vanishing, as they are just such a joy to see in action - classic mechanical engineering beats a big talking screen and LEDs any day! Is the big vintage machine collection beside the tyre garage still there? I think that is still my favourite trip of yours :)
