worthwild video. thank you. My unit came without the USB stick as I bought it used. I found the latest software wont work until I downloaded the older version first, then installed the later version on top of the old one.

Great Video. One question, is it correct that it's not possible to scan black, shiny parts? Cheers, Axel

The CR scan 01 will not scan black Parts without some assistance there are several ways to manipulate the camera so that it will still pick up black. This also works on the lizard as well. Thank you for the compliments.

I installed the software and the device is plugged in. but when I go to run anything it says "serial number in calibration file is empty" how do you fix this?

Unplug power cable at junction not from wall to scanner close program plug in after software starts up. It's very finicky.

I believe the file came on the USB stick that came with the scanner if not it's on thingiverse.com a list of the link in my last comment

Where did you downloaded the handle ?

It was included on the USB stick with the scanner. Although I believe you can get a similar one from Thingiverse.com.
