Is there anything more decadent than Creamy Garlic Shrimp and Bacon Pasta?! Didn’t think so! Here is an easy, and oh-so-tasty recipe!
Ingredients
24-36 Fresh jumbo Shrimp, cleaned and shelled
150g Smoked Lardons
4 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
1 Medium Onion, diced
1/2 each Green, Yellow and Red Bell Peppers, thinly sliced
3 Garlic cloves, minced
1 cup Cherry Tomatoes, halved
½ Large Lemon, juiced
¾ cup Dry White Wine
1.5-2 cups Heavy Cream
¾-1 cup Grated Parmesan to taste
Salt
Black Pepper, freshly ground
Garlic powder
Nutmeg
½ tsp Chili Pepper Flakes (optional)
Fresh Basil to garnish
Prepared pasta (spaghetti, linguini or tagliatelle, or even penne)

With a strong background in the creative and visual arts, Chef Walter’s style can best be described as “gastronomic bistro”. Having completed a “Diplome de Cuisine” at the famed Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute in Paris, as well as the highly rated Walnut Grove Cookery School in France’s Loire Valley, Walter relies on his French training and techniques to assure top quality, but remembers his Texas roots and always cooks from the heart!
