The cold weather makes it perfect for soup! I will be making a creamy tortellini soup. This soup is so easy to make and you can garnish it to make it extra hearty. This is good hearty soup to keep you warm for the winter.

INGREDIENTS
1 lb lean ground beef
1 small onion
2 cloves garlic
2 tsp Italian dried herb blend
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
15.5 oz jar or 2 cups marinara sauce
4 cups beef broth
2 cups water
5 oz fresh baby spinach
salt & pepper to taste
1 cup heavy cream
salt & pepper to taste

Another of my favorites! Since I'm the only soup eater in my house, I make the broth and portion it out in freezer containers and add my spinach and Tortellini when I'm ready to eat it. Great recipe!

Made the recipe tonight. It is delicious! We had to make a substitution because i can't spinach. Zucchini works very well in is place. Thanks for sharing.

I bet chopped cabbage or even bok choy would work well here instead of spinach. We love soup but hubby doesn't care for kale or spinach. I have some marinara in the freezer, I'll be making this soon.

This looks so delish! Spinach is hard to grow in our hot weather so I normally substitute sweet potato leaves instead. Thank you for this recipe

Thanks! I will try this. Also instead off hamburger i will use chicken breast with a can of sweet corn and chicken broth instead off beef broth. Hopefully it's good. 😋 2 news soups for me.

Yummy great because it getting cold out . But I Live in Florida plus I have Covid so this I’ll be making cause I really don’t have an appetite but I’ll make it and I could freeze it for later on but at least I have something healthy in my body so thank you love your recipes everything you do❤

This looks delicious!! I never add fresh spinach into my soup pot. It leaves a "twang" in the leftovers. It wilts so fast so I add it in the bowls before serving.

Update: this was so delicious. Thanks to mama! Bought all my ingredients for this soup but wasn’t sure about how much tortellini to buy since it’s not included in written recipe. I bought a 20 oz package. Is that enough? Tia.

She used 18-20 ounces in the video I believe, but you could do more or less as long as you adjust your liquid accordingly :).

For these type of soup that have pasta and it do you recommend cooking the noodle part separately and adding it in especially if your meal prepping so it doesn't soaked up all the broth? I heard about that technique
