2 жыл бұрынYes yes! First video back after a cheeky holiday and you know I can't go too long without cracking a new Yussef breakdown out! This one is slightly different and we are creating a groove inspired by Yussef's playing and borrowing some of the concepts he uses frequently to create our own idea! Let me know what you think! Apologies for the slightly mad lighting / shadows caused by wearing a cap in this video- lesson learned! It's also worth a mention that I have layered my kick with a sample when I play with the track in this video to help it cut through! Alex 👊

This is so sick, thanks Alex. Crazy over the bar triplet lick, definitely stealing that one. Any tips for practicing the buzz rolls?

Stoked you enjoyed it mate! For sure, practice buzz rolls as well as buzz strokes in grooves and try out different length buzzes to create a different feel! Try to blend them into a legato sound rather than having an accent on the first note! Other than that, just play them every day! Alex 👊

That’s sick you know that tune! I don’t think I will revisit any of the Pat B tunes but the groove to Salmonella Slamma is basically just fast singles between the hats and snare! Was just trying to take influence from dnb grooves! Hope that helps! Alex 👊
