The fact you partially inspired Julia off of your own grandmother is genuinely SO sweet < 3 Both Julia and her are very lovely ladies, and your grandmother definitely seemed cool!! Asides from that, it's difficult for me to choose one specific gym leader I really love, since all of them are so cool both design and personality wise. Maybe Maria, since I sorta have trouble controlling my own emotions so I relate to her on some level. Also because her hair is very pretty lmao I'm so excited for the Pokemon Order and Chaos games to come out, and maybe once those are released, we'll see more content relating to both Brain and Brawn, plus any other conceptual ideas you have. You put so much thought into your stuff, and I give you so many kudos for that!

i absolutely love maria. not only is her design impeccable, i also love the way you created a character on the autism spectrum that isn’t portrayed as a robotic super-genius the way media likes to portray autistic folks such as myself. definitely my favourite gym leader in this region, and possibly my favourite fanmade gym leader period.

39:20 as someone who is in this group I love how you handled the disabilities in making them not a subtle detail and not really too much. These 3 examples of course had a disability, relating to an aspect of them, and finding a way to overcome it and live life better than before. I honestly love all the gym leaders. 1. I would 100% sit with Maria on the dock and share a thermos of calming herbal tea after our battle. 2. Julia is gorgeous, and I could see her stopping some members of the teams just by using the “I’m not angry, I’m disappointed.” grandma voice. “Why didn’t you catch those pokemon for the mission?” “Mrs. Julia said no.” “But there were five of you!” “She used the Tone! And we would have messed up her gem shipment.” 3. I could see Sigrun being excited about battling a capable forge wielder, especially since the art sounds like it is rarely practiced by the average trainer. Once the threat of the teams is dealt with (and the woman can breath easier without that issue hanging over her head), I see her giving you a standing invitation to return for another battle anytime.

Ludvik is my favourite Gym Leader personality wise but Julia has the best design in my eyes and also a great character. It´s hard to pic a favourite.^^

All these leaders are great, its hard to pick a favorite! If I had to choose, it would be between Birkir and Maria. Birkir's personality is great, and I can relate to Maria being diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome, as well as being uncomfortable around people

I think my favorite part of the video was the inspirations! I loved the gym leaders and their teams butttt the way you was inspired by your friends and members of your family was the cherry on top for me. It made the characters so much more believable, excellent video!!

the forge form game footage is AMAZING! SIMPLY AMAZING!

I love the the non-binary representation in Ragnar/Fangtasia, and the fact that they use Dragon-types is even more awesome. A drag queen as a gym leader? Iconic. I also really love the autism representation in Maria. She feels incredibly relatable, and is definitely my favourite character (along with Ragnar/Fangtasia).

As someone who’s also on the spectrum, I want the best for Maria and definitely want her to achieve her goals in life as she kind of reminds me of myself expect instead of being out at sea, I play video games but we both have Pokémon there to help us out in dark times and I’d also give her a hug if I could.

My favorite gym leaders is the twins and the water type specialist because am on the spectrum as well I love the video showing how forge battles work and I love it

I'm gonna say it again but your character designs are just PEAK. All of these Gym leaders have so much personality and their designs all look amazing! My absolute favorite would be Ragnar/Fangtasia. They look absolutely stunning!

Sorry I have to say (well write) to much about this video but please read until the end 🥺 Honestly I love them all... You managed to give each and every one of your gymleaders a believable backstory a unique personality and a reasonable motivation why they are in charge of their respective gyms... That is something not a single real Pokémon game achieved... I am stunned... At first look I thought Sigrun or Ludvik would be be one if my favourits just by their appereance of tough warriors... But normaly I love the fire or grass specialist the most so I love them as well simply based on their types... Maria and Fangtasias storyies are phenomenal and I personally would love to spent most of my time with them just to get to understand them better... Oh and dont let us forget the twins and the grandma... The opposites of the spectrum and jet they fit in perfectly in the whole concept of the region... Only downer for me personally is that the gym leaders would always be 3 level above my own... I normaly train till I am at least two level above the foe I will face next... And finally finally I got an idea of the whole fordge form battle mechanic... Seems amazing... Love it... Want that to be real...

Choosing a favourite is quite hard as it comes down to Julia who is inspired by your grandmother who sounds like such a nice person to meet and Maria who I feel with due to also being on THE SPECTRUM. I choose both as I just love how Julia is all about gems and you fight her on BLACK SAND with waves possibly crashing down. Oh and she is an archer?! Now I would pay every dollar I’d get to make Brain and Brawn official!!! I love Maria’s character and design as it reminds me of the times my old man would take me and my sister fishing when we were younger (I am not even close to being thirty yet). Plus I love Maria’s style of waiting for her opponent to make a move and then counter which is AWESOME!!! Now to finish catching up so I can get started on watching your Orre region series next!

Fangtasia is just my favorite leader of them all, yet it’s always incredible to see you talk about your concepts and seeing everything so well done put together, amazing work! Also loved the tease to the Queen’s Beauty DLC, so excited for it!

Honestly this has got to me one of my all-time favorite fan pokemon projects. I literally adore every aspect from the character designs, their stories, the new pokemon, all of the things that served as inspiration, etc. I can't express how badly I wish this was a full game because I'd die happy if I could experience it fully!

Former because he just fits in a region like Fyrun, while the latter is a bit of a more "love to hate" ala Harley from the Pokemon anime.

If you are bringing in Elsa into this there has to be a battle against her. I would also suggest a multi triple battle of you Minnie and Magnus against their parents (and someone else likley your mom, to balance the teams.) to help them knock some sense into them. Complete with epic thre on thre forge form fight.

I could write paragraphs about how much I love this region and its characters, its all just so wonderful. Also, I agree with the point with Ludvig, that gym leaders don’t need teams to consist entirely of new pokemon. Using new pokemon is meant to introduce them to the player and to give you memories of them, but very rarely does anyone remember the non-ace pokemon on gym leaders teams. Side note: I’m curious, do the cities in Fyrrun have official names? You just kind of call them “the town where X happens”

A few ideas for the gym music: Like Unova in b2w2, each gym will have a remixed theme that matches the typing of the gym. Also, remember Reilmdall? Well, here's an idea for a sort of badge check gate: At the end of the route, that being a cliff which leads up to the region's Victory Road, you see a statue of Reilmdall, with an inscription on a plaque saying "Those who wish to challenge the Alfoodar, present the proof of your victories and I shall grant thee passage." You also see eight slots on the base of the statue, each one in the shape of a different badge. If you insert all eight badges, the statue's eyes will light up and blow it's horn, revealing the rainbow bridge, a bridge made of hard light glowing in seven colors, solid enough for you the player to walk on. There will also be a teleporter tile on the other side to warp you back if there were any last minute things to take care of, but don't worry, the bridge will remain active even after you leave. Not bad, huh? Also, Unversed, but that's what that etc. was for.

I love this series so much and am always so impressed by your sense of game design, art design, and storytelling! I think the mini games for each gym challenge are really cool, but I do find it a little strange that some of them basically punish you with trainer battles if you fail them. I feel like the trainer battles leading up to the gym leader are one of things that make Pokémon gyms really fun, and they also give the player valuable EXP so they aren’t underleveled for the final gym leader battle. So I feel like if winning the mini games allows you to skip trainer battles in some gyms, that could be really detrimental to the experience. Basically, I would suggest structuring each gym with mini games, trainer battles, and the gym leader, where you have to beat the mini games to fight the trainers, and you have to beat all or most of the trainers to fight the gym leader. But other than that, keep up the great work!
