I absolutely love Kaiba and Tate; they actually have complex characters and conflicting philosophies that are equally feasible, while degrading the other. They kinda remind me of Skyrim

For the restaurent gym, you could have the moving through out the place to find the gym leader, like she's running around trying to take care of the place you just barely keep missing her and staff will be the challengers and it would be only after you finish off the staff she comes out and finds you! So like they start in the dining room (maybe or some sort or stage lol) it's normal, then moving into the kitchen its hot, then moving into the cold freezer, etc etc.

I love all of the trainers. They've all got really cool stories to tell and very different philosophies on life. They feel like characters rather than just "you have to battle me to progress. Here is my one trait. Now we fight." I think my favorite is either the ranch or the arcade.

Arcade gym could be like Pac-Man where you go find 4 buttons to push, but there are also 4 trainers looking for you and if they find you they battle you.

Being from Oregon, I'd like to formally say; yes, you can have a sunny rainy day. I've seen it sunny and raining, snowing, sleeting, hailing, you name it. What would be cool to see added is an arbitrary rng counter that will go off at any point (in battle or over world), and completely clear all weather in the current quadrant. As weather effects stack up, the likelihood of the counter being triggered increases.

The best thing about raihan is that he's not themed to a type, he's themed to a strategy. I love that concept. Imagine a gym that changed depending on which starter you chose. Like if you choose water it's a sunlight based gym with pokemon that do well in sunlight, if you chose the fire starter its rain and pokemon that do well in rain, and if you picked grass its hail. The pokemon change depending on the weather but no matter what its ace is castform. And you can also do more general strategies! Like imagine a sweeper gym that has a ninjask with swords dance and baton pass alongside a really strong pokemon that's also really easy to take down, or a trick room gym. It makes gyms more interesting while also introducing new players to legitimately viable strategies and maybe getting them interested in the competitive scene

I love how the theme for the gym leaders are finding your place in life

I've been binging these Kaskade region videos today and they really mean a lot to me. I spent the first 25 years of my life in the greater Seattle area before moving all the way to Duluth Minnesota this year, and watching these videos makes me miss home in a nice way, if that makes sense. It's really endearing to see the place I grew up being stylized in a Pokemon fashion. It's fun. Anyway, thanks for making these videos!

As someone who is Balkan (Serbian to be exact) I LOVE Zlata! We have a lot of old arcades especially in the smaller towns and cities. Also her getting bullied for being even slightly different is in style of how it is living in Serbia and other places around it. Overall I appreciate the representation :] Ps. there’s an actual name similar to Zlata- Zlatana- tho it’s not as common as it was lol

Maybe for a bit of flavor, the trainer you fight in each “region” during Trip’s gym could play the Gym Leader theme from that region. Assuming that it’s the main characters of each region because it’s a fan game so rules don’t apply, Red would have the Kanto Gym Leader theme, Gold could have the Johto Gym Leader Theme, and so on and so forth. It could be modernized versions of the songs, it could be the original song for the point of nostalgia, I don’t know, it’d be cool regardless.

I really can’t wait for the video with all the new Rotom forms. Server form, Arcade form, Amaze-All Rotom, and Rotomb.

I've just realized all of the gym leaders are themed around changes in one way or another (buckle up this is a long comment) Adamo- Moved to Kaskade from Unova, moving is a pretty big change especially leaving an entire region. Caela- She changed her job from a Pokémon Ranger to a gym leader, Tso-Lo Falls is huge on soul searching, and even says "It's never to late to change yourself" Kaiba- He changed Bent Town for the better by having warehouses and producing goods to grow the economy Tate- Moved to avoid changing himself and would rather change what he does than change himself Mary & John- Married each other and started a family, marriage is a monumental change to someone's life as them and their SO are bound together by love, and making a family is also a really big change as you now have children to take care of and raise. Elna- She constantly changed her hobby to try and find what works for her, and was practicing her craft until she got really good. Zlata- She was bullied which likely made her feel insecure, but she changed her outlook and learned to love and accept herself making her more confident, becoming a streamer and gym leader, also says that people should just be themselves and not let others tell them how to live their lives. Trip- He traveled the world and learned more about the cultural differences of different regions, his whole mindset is to have society change to accept and respect other cultures instead of shunning them and thinking negatively of them.

Mary and John are my favorites. I don't know why, but as soon as the art of them showed up on the screen I instantly thought they were absolutely adorable!

I love the Dynamic of gyms 3 and 4 with a pair of brothers who've both reacted to the same situation in opposite but both understandable ways.

The fact that kaiba has nothing resembling a blues eyes even in his rematch feels like a missed opportunity to me, especially when he's also related to a multiple million dollar company.

I like the concept of difference cuz every gym leader is soo different but makes sense like the brothers on the desert area they refers to choices by either staying and improve or move on

I'm thinking of making a region based on ALL of the USA. One of my ideas comes from the Striation Gym that I loved: three gym leaders, and the one you fight is the one your starter is weak to. It will be the last gym, and the leaders are: Johnny Appleseed, John Henry, and Paul Bunyan; and each of them will also be using a pokemon that are themed after them. Your idea of being able to go to the gyms and fight them again would result in being able to fight the improved teams of any that you want, and you can rechallenge all the gym leaders as much as you want. The place they will be in will probably be based on either Alaska/Texas or Florida/Texas, I'm not entirely sure yet.

Finally another Episode of the Kaskade region. i've been waiting for this. Lockstin please make this into an actual fan game or rom hack i really want to play this so bad. also another great job all eight of the gym leaders are great i can see the effort you put into each one.

When I saw Rotom server form on the thumbnail, I imagined a battle against a Rotom gym leader(which possibly possessed a supercomputer or something) who had an advanced AI and uses advanced competitive strategies to win with surprisingly low-level pokemon.

I LOVE the idea of being able to turn double battles on! I’ve always loved them and have always thought them a nice treat whenever I encounter them in games, so being able to make it so it’s like that all the time? Heck yes! I’m all for it!

I actually had a thought about this. Instead of them being “gyms,” they’re actually gyms, and the player has to go to them to learn about different fighting styles. Once they’ve mastered all the styles, they can enter the league/challenge the elite four

I like this concept of gym leaders. Instead of the usual patterns of typing it's based off who they are as people. It's unique and is kinda like the game of life.

Well what do you know, the Gen after this came out we really did get a gym leader who’s a streamer! Only, Iona has quite the different vibe to her.

I was just thinking about this today actually, I wanted gyms based on the roles of the Meta. An all physical sweeper gym run by some aggressive yet friendly guy. A special focused Wall gym lead by someone who is clearly secretive and and guarded. Maybe some mother type character who is shown helping you earlier in the game who uses all support type Pokémon, make it a double of triple battle too she’s all about helping others and teamwork. That sort of thing.

After watching this video, I want to add on to this if you're good with it. First, the whole gymleader thing. Maybe there should be a poison/ghost type gym leader but instead of being a ninja or haunted person, they're actually a business man/woman haunted by their parents corrupted business past. When you first match them, you see them using ghost and poison type pokemon. When you rematch them, they have changed in both pokemon and character. They change, sporting brighter cheerier clothing, and have grass types and normal types like audino. Their original gym maybe a giant factory with thousands of gallons of toxic waste running through pipes. But when you go to rematch them, the assistant inside tells you they're shuting down the company and hand you a ticket to a cruiser. When you get on said cruiser, you're brought to an even lower part of the region and see they've changed to become a pokemon breeder and overall more cheery.

Caela- most likely grass Kaiba - a lot of ground types so yeah Tate - close enough to his brother to be rock and not ground Mary and John - probably normal types Elna - a bit confusing tbh, there’s a bit of grass and fire mix so either one would do Zlata - again not too difficult, but either electric or steel work Trip - fairy or psychic do well, probably fairy tho
