The Sistine Chapel is incredible. As you may know, the artist Michaelangelo spent many years on his back painting murals on the ceiling at the request of the Pope. The "story" goes that the first time the Pope went to see the finished ceiling, arguably the most beautiful religious "painting" in the world. The Pope came in, and Michaelo was there, and the entire world was waiting for the Pope to comment, especially Michaelangelo, who had honored the request of the Pope to take years t complete. So, what was the Pope's comment, "Michangelo, when I asked you to paint this ceiling, I meant blue."

I have really enjoyed watching your adventures in the Mediterranean ! It's nice to see you and your friends /fellow crew having a good time. Thanks for sharing what's going on around the ship and now that your contract is up have a nice break at home.

Chris - love your vids! And congrats on completion of the latest contract. I was hoping to get a glimpse of Symphony when I cruised around the western Med on the Queen Mary 2 a couple of weeks ago but we must have been ships passing in the night. I was onboard QM2 when we broke loose in Civitavecchia on August 4th - that was an interesting few hours 😛 Nothing like being on an out of control ocean liner heading for another ship. Anyhow, hopefully our paths will cross in the future.

You’re right, time has flown since you left Explorer. We haven’t made it to Symphony yet but hope to sometime in the future. I can’t wait to see where you’re going next. If you were serious about Icon, we may yet meet as we booked Icon next November. I will absolutely say hi.

Hopefully you get an extended contract and we finally get to meet you in the casino New Year's 2025 on icon when we board her!! Would love to see you pick a ship & itinerary that speaks to you & take an RCL Cruise as a customer. It would be fun to see you enjoy yourself from the other side & not have to race back to the ship for work. Use that employee discount! If not, see you on Icon next year!
