What you saw that looked like a castle is the parliament building. next time in Victoria you MUST go inside the Empress hotel. You must have walk by it. A true english tea with scones is served. Plus buchart gardens is a must. Yes cantonese would be fun. Sub titles a must. 😊

Would love to hear your vlog in Cantonese. I watch a lot of Asian shows on TV and love it. We hope to run into you in Alaska next week. Not sure if you will be at same ports as we are on a different ship. Thanks for the ideas for Victoria. We were not sure what we were going to do but now we will be going to Nubo and China town. Thanks, Chris.

Chris, personally, I don't think you're weird at all for enjoying being by yourself sometimes - I can totally relate!!! You're around people a lot so I think it makes total sense that you would enjoy the freedom to just 'be'!! Hope you continue to enjoy being off the ship - with friends or solo!! And, BTW, that Tracy's Crab Shack meal looked soooo awesome - total yuuuum!!

The castle looking building. Is called The Empress Hotel. They do high tea around noon and it's pretty cool inside. If you enjoy tea, there's a shop in Victoria called Murchie's. Lots of great tea's. Loose and saches. It's not far from the hotel.

Would love to see you do a vlog in Cantonese!! I live in Victoria so if you ever need help just shoot me a message. In Chinatown, make sure you check out Fan Tan Alley. The world’s most narrow street! It’s one block wide but you can almost touch both sides of the buildings. It’s also one of our city’s most haunted areas- if you believe. Hope to meet you some day!! That fancy castle like building is our Provincial Legislative buildings. The water across from it is the Inner Harbour ( you passed Fisherman’s wharf on your walk up) enjoy our fair city.

Enjoy your vlogs. Especially this series since we recently did the Quantum 6/20-27. ⚓️🌴 We missed Skagway due to the landslide that morning. 🙁 Missed our little trip over to Haines. 😬 Weather was so nice except for a drizzly day in Sitka. Although it was #5 for me, it won’t be my last. And I live in Anchorage. 😃⚓️🌲 Not sure if I’d like to read subtitles for 10 minutes but I’d sure be impressed to hear you speak in Chinese. 👏🏼 Wow. See you on your next vlog. 😃
