Watch how investigators from the Anti-Scam Command follow the trail of a series of Internet love scams to stop the perpetrator and his network of money mules. Scam Alert: Class is in session! Both Nigerians, Awolola Oladayo Opeyemi and Awolola Gbolahan Ayobami were sentenced to 5 years and 4 years and 2 months imprisonment respectively. And the 2 other local women, Suhaili Suparjo and Faridah Rashid, were sentenced to 15 months and 18 weeks imprisonment respectively. Besides, this was also reported in the newspapers too.

After so many case shared still ppl get scammed... Unbelievable... Last few month my friend get scam 3k.. then the so called bf ask for 25k more . With almost same modus operandi... Lucky she told me . And i stop her from transferring more money... Losing 3k consider herself lucky

Sadly, most episodes end with the mastermind not being caught, with the common cliche sentence:"The number belonging to the mastermind is registered to a foreign national who has since left the country"

The problem is that they may be in countries with no extradition treaty or in countries that may be very corrupt which hampers extradition proceedings (i.e many Chinese syndicates for scams operate in Myanmar because of the lack of enforcement and the bribery is rampant and there is possibility that some operate with support from the government, not Myanmar government)

Suhaili Binte Suparjo was convicted of helping to retain benefits from criminal conduct and abetting a conspiracy with another to intentionally obstruct the course of justice, and sentenced to 15 months' imprisonment. Awolola Oladayo Opeyemi was convicted of conspiring with another to receive benefits from criminal conduct and abetting a conspiracy with another to intentionally obstruct the course of justice, and sentenced to 60 months' imprisonment. Faridah Binte Rashid was convicted for helping to retain benefits from criminal conduct and abetting a conspiracy with another to intentionally obstruct the course of justice, and sentenced to 18 weeks' imprisonment.

The way three characters and an actual DSP read out that Awolola's full name are in different tones... Suhaili : slowly and sadly, as if in a trance. SIO Nur Baizurah : slowly and calmly, like reading from a script. Probably a bit annoyed. Male SIO : very fast and sounding very angry, as if he were scared of forgetting or mispronouncing any part of the long name (which he's been memorizing for so long). DSP Azfer Ali Khan: speaking slowly, trying to hold his laughter 🤭 Look at the guy, he's so short!!

Tell me you’re DUMB without telling me you’re DUMB. Even my hubby knows not to be corny and gushy liddat. Such an effusive display of emotions is cringey and insincere.
