The thing I think makes them good is that he only does them every now and then. I feel like if you try to be the "Get a look at this." guy all of the time, it loses the impact. Nobody is really swimming in cringe like that... and talking about it, I mean. So at some point, it's gonna be phoned-in. Just a natural progression imo.
