I remember enjoying this game, even though I did so much grinding I just ran through all the bosses. I did the same in World of Final Fantasy too now that I think about it...

Uh. I thought that they would change the end to make it like we see at the end of FF7R. To make it part of the new timeline.

I think the main idea of the FF7R is to take this original timeline in conflict with the new one. So players had to play or replay this one to understand the differences with what will happen in Rebirth and learn the consequences
