Need to give this one a re-watch. Edward Arnold is one of my all time favorites & Walter Hutson is always fantastic, especially in Dodsworth. If you haven’t seen this filmmaker’s work called Portrait of Jennie, it’s a one of my all time favorites.

i really enjoy that classic faustian concept of dealing with the devil and how many beautiful themes and stories can come from it. Phantom of the Paradise is another huge favorite for me, do you think that or any other Brian De Palma films could ever find their way into the collection?

I also thought of The Exorcist anytime the film cut to the negative close-ups of Walter Huston!
