3-4 pounds country style pork ribs
Mix together:
1 1/2 cups barbecue sauce (I used sweet baby rays, use any kind you like)
1 1/2 cups Dr. Pepper (or Coke)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
2 TBS brown sugar
1 onion (cut in slices)(yellow, white or even red will work)
Place ribs in crockpot. Pour sauce over them. Add another layer of ribs and pour remaining sauce.
Cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 6-7 hours.
Optional: When ribs are done place on a parchment lined baking dish. Brush with barbecue sauce and place under the oven broiler for 3-4 minutes. This will give them some color.
