Life After Death Row is a documentary on the musical career of the rapper Crooked I. The tell-all film was released in August 2006 and illustrates the trials and tribulations Crooked I endured while on the infamous Death Row Records. The film also takes the viewer on a journey with Crooked I on building his own record label Dynasty Entertainment. The film contains many guest appearances from other musical figures who share similar views of Crooked I. These individuals include Russell Simmons, Master P, Loon, Bun B, WC, RBX, Big C Style, Mopreme Shakur, Phobia, Eastwood, Spider Loc, Paperboy and more.

A few things I wanted to touch on. First off Crooked I is DOPE. Lol. Anybody not familiar with him NEEDS to get familiar with him. One of the most underrated and overlooked rappers in the rap game. Second, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopez is a classic example of why some of the more spiritual brothas and sistas say the black woman is GOD. Look at how she came to the Death Row label and completely changed up the environment and the atmosphere there. Got them brothas living a more healthy lifestyle, promoted more positive energy, had them brothas from the streets mellowed out. Lol. When the black woman is in tuned with her GODDESS like self and abilities and she knows who she is THAT is the type of energy she will bring forth. R.I.P. Left Eye... Third, Suge Knight is a shady business man and a VIOLENT individual... Today in 2015 he is no longer the biggest, baddest, bully on the block... He got that chip knocked off his shoulder a long time ago and NOBODY fears him anymore. Fourth voting doesn't mean shit... I know the homey Crooked I meant well trying to promote voting as being crucial but voting has never meant shit. Especially when it comes to presidents getting elected. Presidents are SELECTED way ahead of time. Never ELECTED like most of the American people think. And what the homey Spider Loc said at 1:00:08-1:00:40 is sooo true. People get to caught up in the music and these rappers sometimes and don't know the TRUTH...

dante daniel Lane KZfaq can be a great source of information as long as you know the rite people to listen to and what to pay attention to. Quit ASSUMING things and actually THINK outside the box. bigbear197708 Death Row Records had a good run though. They were one of the dominant rap record labels from 1992 - 1997. If they could have kept Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg on good terms, and if 2Pac hadn't been murdered maybe Death Row Records could have stayed a major record label a lot longer. Once Dr. Dre left Death Row Records everything quickly began to collapse.

Crook was born 23 September 1975, meaning he was 14 when the chronic dropped and probably 13 when recorded. Can concede he was too young to have contributed to the album, but in 1995 he was rhyming at a high calibre.
