Stop at Jacksonville KOA North. Free daily breakfasts.Try proprietary Tart Cherry Pancake Syrup amomgsr other flavors.Drive 20 minutes to ST Mary"s great seafood restaurants and quaint old Florida town. Also there is Submarine Museum.It's a major submarine base as well. There are ferries over to Cumberland Island National Seashore.Wild horses roam. Plum Orchard Museum. Crooked River State Park. Not far either from Jacksonville beaches and night life. Less than an hour drive to St Simon's Island. Love this place you've found

Anastasia Island State Park in St. Augustine is a great campground. Lots to do right outside the park like an alligator farm, lighthouse tour, and endless historic places downtown.

I am curious to know how on earth you guys find such hidden gem spots to station at?? I research the cities i want to visit and i only get bunch of lame RV parks that have months of waiting lists and it’s so stressful. Please teach us how to find those hidden gems! Cheers to you and Dylan! Safe trips

It's definitely a process but maybe I'll make a video talking about how I do it! There are tons of resources/ sites that I use (Harvest Hosts being one of them 😉)

Camp at Ginnie Springs Outdoors, FL It has 7 spring heads connected to a river where you can kayak, snorkel, and go tubing. Pretty neat!

Hi Crosby. Amazing Video. You have always been upfront with everything in your videos, and I love that about you. It's great to see the "Real Life" and not just the make believe. Yes, in real life you have to do laundry. And I am so happy you are taking care of yourself to help yourself be in better spirits (mind, body, and soul.) I loved it before when you guys did the RV videos, and now just able to get back into these and looking forward to more to come. Wish you guys the best, and please I would like to see all the challenges there are to RV living.

If you every come through Lexington Kentucky look up the Kentucky Horse Park Campground. It's very beautiful and you get discounts on parking and the Horse Park. Message me if you come through. I would love to give you a personal tour.

Kinda far from Tampa but maybe worth it to check out on your way back… the Florida caverns. The campsite is so nice! Paynes Prairie is nice, and you could check out Gainesville since it’s only a 15min drive.

If you go through Jacksonville, I stayed at a county park called Hannah Park. The rates are similar to a state park. It is very nice for a county park and within walking distance to the beach. It also has a nice lake for kayaking.

Thanks for the video. When it gets cold you may consider a heated hose or put some water in the tank if you have heated tanks and run off that. If you're running the furnace, you may be okay without tank heaters. And I don't know why but when I saw a shot of your wheels I thought of bearings. It's something I'm paranoid about. Hopefully you can stay on top of bearing maintenance while you're on the road. I carry an extra set of bearings, grease and a bottle jack. It's cheap insurance for when I one fails and it won't leave you stranded on the side of the road. Safe travles!
@CrosbyGraceTravels
@CrosbyGraceTravels Жыл бұрын
Thanks for all the tips! We’re definitely in need of a heated hose, it’s frozen one too many times on the road 🤣

If you will be in the Florida Panhandle, look into camping at Ft. Pickens Nation Seashore on Pensacola Beach or Topsail Hill Preserve State Park in Destin. These are my to favorites in the Panhandle.

Great video! We have a horse retirement farm down the road from us. We are good friends with the owners. And the horses are great. We are members of BoonDockers Welcome (part of Harvest Hosts). We chose BW because we heard HH was only for one night stays. While B.W. can be up to five days. Anyway we love it. Stay safe and enjoy the journey.

It’s not really zero camping fees since you’re expected to buy stuff from the host. In our experience it’s not super cheap.

Personally, I view supporting a local business as a cost of entertainment! Whether we're doing a wine tasting, buying handmade goods, or doing a flight of local beers, it's a fun experience that I don't mind paying for :)

@@CrosbyGraceTravels that can be true but I feel it’s important to mention.L that it’s not free free. We have found that there’s not a lot of hosts where we need them. It works better if you plan around HH stops rather than having a plan and hoping you’ll be able to find a host nearby.

Hi Crosby, love your travels and your energy is contagious. We are from Maryland and we would love to stay at the farm you stayed at, Mezza Luna. We searched throughout southern Maryland, specifically Demarcus MD it’s no longer on Harvest Host as an option. Do you know why? Thank you! Happy Thanksgiving to you and Dylon.
