I absolutely love these challenge runs! Croton, thank you for turning a simple concept into a very entertaining and interesting series. You’ve actually inspired me to do my own themed challenge runs. For anyone interested, here’s what I did: The first run I did that Croton hasn’t also done was a barbarian run where the only weapons allowed are Lynel weapons, and the only armor allowed is the barbarian armor (outside of a few times where I had fun with the Lynel mask). I also only allowed myself to get spirit orbs from test of strength shrines (outside of the great plateau and the labyrinths of course). Playing in master mode and having no weapons made killing my first few Lynels tedious, especially because I dreaded losing the big metal box I was using, but of course the rewards are worth it. Since I was already killing nearly every Lynel for their weapons, my side challenge before facing Ganon was to kill every mini boss and obtain Kilton’s medals. That was a very fun run. The one I’m currently running right now is a run I’ve dubbed the “hardworking Hylian” run. The only weapons allowed are these: Torch, Soup ladle, Farming hoe, Boat oar, Woodcutter’s axe, double axe, Iron sledgehammer, Wooden mop, Farmers pitchfork, Fishing harpoon, Throwing spear, Wooden bow, Pot lid, Wooden shield, Emblazoned shield, Hunter’s shield, and Fisherman’s shield. So basically the daily use and goods plus a few more. The only armor allowed is the climbing gear. My extra challenges include: buying and fully upgrading the house, completing terry town and watching the marriage, NOT talking to bolson so he stays off my lawn, and completing every village related side quest. This one will take a while.

Have a great Halloween!! 🎃 For those wondering why we didn't use Dragonbone tier weapons: Unlike spiked weapons, these get boosted by 80% with the bone attack up setbonus which would have made them far too OP for this challenge - and we wanted to self balance. If you are attempting to do this challenge yourself feel free to add these in if you like though!

Can you do a only hylian gear run? It would have weapons like the travelers’ gear and the objective would be to get the hylian shield. Also Bonetrousle all the way

Video Idea: How about a Soldiers/Knight Run. You are only allowed to use the Soldiers Set and the Soldiers or Knight Weapons? Those are over avarage but not OP so it could still be fun. Furthermore there is even a Horse armor for it.

I laughed so hard when Crow said "That could be instant death" and a boko just fall right after that and breaks both his legs and dies. Perfect timing.

I like your editing style and the music choice. The horse papyrus text box was funny. And the 'riddle me this' while fighting the enemy

I’ve recently done a champion’s run. I dubbed it “The Champion’s Command.” I was only allowed to use the Champion Abilities and their weapons. I could repair them and I have to beat each Divine Beast without dying once but dying any other time is fine. I also had to upgrade the 4 main clothing to the max like the Zora Set, Snowquill Set, Flamebreaker Set, and the Desert Voe Set. I also had to do the Champion’s Ballad DLC to upgrade the Champion Abilities and get the Master Cycle Zero. Once I did all those things, I had to beat Ganon. Overall, this was a really fun challenge but had many twists and turns when it came to how to get money. I died like 2 or 3 times and it was so frustrating. But, finally I did it. In case people are wonder how I did Dark Beast Ganon, I used some Ancient Arrows as well as Urbosa’s Fury+. Still, he was a big pushover like always and I vowed that if I ever took damage from that fight, I’d have to restart the whole thing. I did this in the middle or end of February.

Most obtainable run so far. All you have to do to become a skeleton irl is wait long enough. 😂

I have a theme run sugestion! Maybe you could do a run where you can only use hylian gear (travelers, soldiers, knights, and royal gear). I also have another idea. Maybe you could try an only monster run (only gear made by monsters and maybe you cold only use the dark link armor or something cus you only can get it from the monster shop

You didn't need to dodge Thunderblight's electric orbs - your wooden shield would have absorbed them on contact, protecting you.

Here’s some ideas for challenge runs I had: Zonai- I love this idea, really fits for Tears of the Kingdom, The barbarian set, possibly alongside the Lynel weapons or possibly the dragonbone weapons or another set Korok- Korok mask, Forest dweller set, stick and leaf Lynel- Lynel mask and Lynel weapons and shields Bokoblin- Bokoblin weapons and mask Elemental- use the different elemental gear (the 3 swords, 3 greatswords, 3 spears, 6 rods and 3 arrows) corresponding to the specific element, maybe with the respective jewellery in Gerudo town (so for thunder it’d be thunderblade, great thunderblade, thunderspear, thunder rod, thunderstorm rod and the topaz earrings) Champion- wear your champion tunic and such with the different champion’s weapons Yiga- use the different Yiga weapons

These vids are awesome! Keep making more! Maybe make like a cold only run? (only frozen food, the warm doublet, and 2 other armor pieces that are cold resistant and only weapons that have to do with cold. I think bows are fine, but only ice arrows.)

Hi, love ur vids and streams! I have a challenge run idea: monster items only. You can use any item with a monster’s name in it (i.e. boko bow, moblin club, savage lynel shield etc.) and using the monster masks from kiltin and the monster horse armor could be fun. If you end up using this than thank you!!!!!

Finally a new croton video came out I have been waiting for so long😃

I am absolutely loving all the Undertale references, music, and puns, this feels Sans getting the chance to be a protagonist (though he seems to be playing neutral route considering all his monster buddies he's killed :/ ) This was so fun to watch! It also made me consider how different things could be if Link truly had died in Blatchery Plains and the Shrine of Resurrection didn't so much bring him back rather than make him undead...I think it would change the dynamic of the champion interactions a little bit

I love class challenges like this. Here are a few preferences for another time Goron: Goron weapons can be used ex. Cobble crusher or Drillshaft. Possible bonus challenge, kill every igneo talus (the titan is your choice to count or not). Knight: the knights set and armor is used. Bonus challenge: either max out knight armor or prove yourself worthy by getting the hylian shield Korok: most items from trees can be used. Korok mask is your only armor. Bonus challenge is super hard. Either gather just 100 seeds, enough to finish upgrading your inventory (441 seeds), or get all 900 seeds

I loved the Bug Fables music you used! The game doesn’t get enough appreciation, and it’s music is a revelation!
