SPOILERS FOR CROWFEATHER'S TRIAL: Here is a little analysis on how accurate my predictions were. Prediction 1: Crowfeather will fix his life/relationships Outcome: True Prediction 2: The book will focus on Crowfeather facing his past mistakes surrounding Breezepelt and Nightcloud. Outcome: True Prediction 3: The theme of the book will be putting the past behind you so you can focus on the present. Outcome: Absolutely true! Crowfeather had trouble loving Breezepelt and Nightcloud because he was too focuses on the mistakes he made with their relationship in the past. He had to overcome the fact that he made these mistakes and realize that that he could still love them because they were both alive in the present. In addition, Breezepelt and the other cats that trained in the Dark Forest had trouble being accepted until the rest of the clan cats could finally put the past behind them. Prediction 4: Nightcloud and Breezepelt will be central in the story’s plot. (similar to prediction 2) Outcome: True. Prediction 5: The book will start out with Crowfeather being pessimistic about his futures, and end with him having a new understanding of the gift that is clan life. Outcome: True. Crowfeather gets so upset that he accepts being banished from WindClan, but after finding Nightcloud, he realizes that he absolutely needs clan life. Also, there are several cats in the book such as Hootpaw, Kestrelflight, and Heathertail that exist to make WindClan seem like a valuable group that isn’t worth leaving. Prediction 6: There will be scenes with Crowfeather trying to get over the fact that Feathertail is gone. Outcome: True. The prologue had a flashback to Feathertail’s death and the pain that caused Crowfeather. Also, there were a few moments when Crowfeather mentioned that he will never love Nightcloud the way he loved Feathertail and Leafpool. Prediction 7: Leafpool will tell Crowfeather to love Breezepelt and Nightcloud more. Outcome: True. When Leafpool encourages Leafpool to love Breezepelt and Nightcloud because they are his family and having kits forever connects cats. Although, Ashfoot was the cat that more explicitly told Crowfeather to love his family. Prediction 8: There will be redemption for the love between Crowfeather and Nightcloud. Outcome: Mostly true. Crowfeather and Nightcloud came to respect each other by the end of the book. Although, they did agree that they shouldn’t be mates, so while they do love each other now, it’s not quite in the way that I expected. Prediction 9: This book has some serious potential to be amazing. Outcome: Absolutely true!

Wow, I just realized that Sandstorm fell in love with Firestar soon after he saved her from falling, and then Leafpool fell in love with Crowfeather soon after he saved her from falling... like mother like daughter I guess😂

If Crowfeather becomes leader, I'm sure Feathertail will most likely give him one of his nine lives.

I think that after Breezepelt was born, Nightcloud discvovered that Crowfeather didn't love her. So she made Breezepaw believe he didn't love him either. Crowfeather probably has problems showing his emotions openly, or was scared of further interaction with his family, so he didn't pay attention to Breezepelt.

While I don't hate Leafpool x Crowfeather, I wish they had had more time to develop their relationship so it didn't feel rushed and fake

Crowfeather best live long enough to be Crowstar I want another sassy WindClan leader, but not as cranky as Onestar

I remember the days when literally EVERYONE in the fandom loathed the guts out of Crowfeather (kind of like what's happening with Leafpool right now actually) and I would have to keep my love for his character quiet. I'm just glad more people are coming to appreciate him!

Technically speaking, Crowfeather and Leafpool started falling for each other earlier, before he saved her from the fall, since she was visiting him in his dreams when he was grieving for Feathertail.

Hey psst, chronologically, Crowfeather first appears in the Ravenpaw's path mangas as Crowkit, where he's been wandering of on his own and found by Ravenpaw and Barley

Majority of this theory is banking on the idea that Crowfeather is attached to his father and was heavily grieving his loss (and how that effected him) at at time where, in the series, a lot of kits didn't know or have any connections with their fathers. And also, when examining text over Crowfeather giving Breezepaw no attention, keep in mind that the narrator is through the eyes of a child Breezepaw's age. It isn't factual. It's an opinion force-fed to us based on what Hollypaw, Jaypaw, and Lionpaw see. Which it isn't unlikely for them to mistake Crowfeather's parenting as neglect because of the extremely different environment that they grew up in, with Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw as parents, along with being spoiled by Leafpool with gifts as kits.

You forgot to mention that he still loved leafpool but he tried not to show it because she was so much like feathertail. And he does love his thunderclan kits. He got with nightcloud to only gain the trust but he nevr loved nightcloud or breezepelt. But he did care and was secretly proud of nightcloud.

I really hope Crowfeather becomes leader of WindClan. It would be cool if his motto was something about starting over with your life in hopes to achieve something greater!

I can't wait for Crowfeather's Trial. Crowfeather has been one of my favorite warriors for a while and I really want to see him mend the relationship with Nightcloud and Breezepelt. And I definitely think that he has the potential to be a great leader for WindClan. I also would love to see Feathertail, Deadfoot, and Ashfoot each give Crowfeather a life when he becomes leader.

The Erin’s have revealed that Crowfeather’s relationship with Feathertail wouldn’t have worked out. He wouldn’t have been able to be himself.

there's also the fact that he even attempted suicide. yeah that's just, wow! i learned that in Quit Rage's video on him and commented on that scene i said that he needed a lot of help something along the line of a psychiatric evaluation and therapy. something his son, Jayfeather would receive in that moonpool "intervention" he was baited into by Alderheart. but unlike Crowfeather who had attachment issues, Jayfeather had both issues with his self esteem and a bit of mommy issues after Leafpool died.

Also being said, Feathertail watched Hollyleaf Lionblaze and Jayfeather from starclan, as she felt like they were hers as much as Leafpool' because of how Crowfeather and Deathertail loved each other

Finally! Someone who comments on the fact that Crowfeather wasn’t neglectful, just emotionally distant. Also, about how Nightcloud is ALSO MAJORLY at fault for the family’s outcome. She seriously distances her son and mate for her own selfish reasons- *cough cough* coaching is actually neglect and abuse *cough cough.* Edit: I actually like Nightcloud in the novella, (making sure she and Crowfeather don’t get back together) but she is abusive before they make up- period. Between coaching her child and purposefully injuring Crowfeather’s leg, she shows constant signs of abusing behavior. (Not to mention the unhealthy attitude of ‘us vs. them!’) I’m not saying Crowfeather didn’t contribute to it, I am saying that Crowfeather and Breezepelt were abused by her.

Crowfeather actually loved Leafpool though, and It’s confirmed by the Erin’s that he will choose her over Feathertail and Nightcloud in starclan. Feathertail was most likely just a crush for him

I love Akira so much. Like he could be talking about children getting murdered and still sound dead inside lmao, absolute legend 9:48 that's.. not what happened. I know this because I memorized the scene for whenever I get into arguments with people over Nightcloud abusing Crowfeather. What happens is that Breezepelt and Lionblaze are about to claw the heck out of each other, Leafpool yells at them to stop before running between them and she ends up getting clawed by Breezepelt by accident. Crowfeather steps in and drags Breezepelt away from her and throws him to the side before hissing "you chose your clan, remember?" And Leafpool responds with "that doesn't mean I didn't love you!" And then Nightcloud, being the mentally ill wreck she is, digs her claws into Crowfeather's pelt and drags him away from her in a fit of rage and jealousy before yelling at him.

My favourite moment? 9:23. I guarantee there is nowhere else where you could see Breezepelt and Lionblaze spinning IN TIME while Crowfeather looks on, Nightcloud looks angry and Leafpool looks guilt. #loveit😍

I agree with a lot of these, but it is also shown that Crowfeather truly did love leafpool and he developed feelings for her before she had feelings for him. I do believe that they still love each other, which is heavily backed up by the books if you look for it. I also believe that he loved feathertail but I do believe he was able to mostly put that behind him. He'll always remember her but he knows that part of his life was a long time ago

I'm glad someone finally sees the side of crowfeather and personally he is one of my favourite warrior cat characters and I'm really excited for this super edition and I hope people will be able to see how much Crowther can teach people about keeping hold of your past and what it does to you and I see myself in some of crowfeathers character which made him relateable to me and made me like him so I hope he is given the chance to fix him mistakes once and for all

I'm pretty sure Crow and Night were together only because 1. Crowfeather wanted to prove he was loyal to WindClan now. 2. Nightcloud knew she was almost getting to the age where she would be too old to have kits but never found the right tom.
