3 жыл бұрынTodays Video is on a 10HP Fairbanks Morse Z Antique Gas Engine! This was a video I filmed last April but lost most of the rebuilding footing so I finally decided to post it as it's been too cold in Iowa to want to do much. So I Hope you enjoy this video!

Very nice. Have you tried adjusting the mixture needle so it could get a richer mixture? That might help it to overcome whatever issues it's having sucking up fuel.

it was an airflow issue as I wasn't running it at operating speeds from when it was built. the intake under the carb had a pipe fitting for 1.5 pipe and I put a old brass valve on it to regulate the airflow better and it is a great running engine now. just haven't had time to get a video of I as it sits right now.

somewhat they are more common as tank cooled.

Why does it refuse to run unless you keep choking it? More importantly, you should be very ashamed for not having an oiler on the cylinder!!!

its the first time this engines ran in a long time I've put so much oil in the cylinder there no need to get in a hurry about a oiler until I knew it was running good. as for the choking problem i had some fuel issues i had to work out and this engine is extremely worn out so it runs lean all the time from extreme blow by .
