Every Wednesday after a video is released on KZfaq, I do a live Q&A session, at 3 PM EDT. I may also take the opportunity to discuss something in the video in more detail or maybe something I realize I didn’t talk about in the video. Come and check it out!
You can also join our community Facebook group, “HALO’s Creative Kingdom.” This is a wonderful, supportive group of quilting cherubs. We have a HALO’s Happy Hour in the community that meets with me and other quilting cherubs, live, usually once a week. We hope to see YOU in there!
May you continue to be inspired, productive, and joyful! And may you never stop making your dreams in quilting come true!

I love crumb piecing...you can really create some magical pieces of art. It is all in the method :) The colors in the different pieces thrown together can really be gorgeous. And it doesn't even really matter what small pieces of fabric are in there. Do you do any crumb piecing?

This is awesome the square and pinwheel fantastic, to me it's very time consuming. First time watching crumb piecing.
@HALO_Inspirations
@HALO_Inspirations 3 жыл бұрын
It isn't too much time...you can pick it up and put it down at anytime. Hence, why I do it for about 10 minutes or so. The pieces can always wait till the next time to built on. But, once you get the rhythm, it really doesn't take too much time.

re: Pinwheel - did you have an issue with the 'busy intersection', especially with all the little bits of seam allowance in there?
@HALO_Inspirations
@HALO_Inspirations 3 жыл бұрын
What a fantabulous question! I can totally understand where you are coming from. I have to tell you that it went together quite well! Those extra seams did not make it harder, and that block went together easily. It was a shocker to me too. It is a wonderful block for me to reflect on and remind me to do what inspires me, because sometimes it looks harder than it really is!

Would this work good for leaders and enders?
@HALO_Inspirations
@HALO_Inspirations 3 жыл бұрын
I have been thinking about this question since you posted it. I honestly believe you can use anything as a leader/ender. Saying that, I haven't tried to with this. The only reason why is it is a bit messy. I think as I go, and really do not have a plan. So, my thoughts would have to switch back and forth. Also, as I am cutting as I go, the mess can get a bit real...lol But, it is an interesting concept. I will have to try to see...especially with the mental load. lol

That’s what I do. I don’t try to get a final square if I am working on a project I just pick small pieces and sew them together. I just put the pieces in a container as I sew. I will take a block of time and press the pieces and then they can be matched up for leaders and enders for another day. I consider this a bonus project and use the squares for bags and potholders.
