She's always planning something :D As for RPing the character(s) tho it's indeed more or less the idea, to a degree, with Dayne we've gone extra "does this make sense for the character/story?" when making decisions :) Edric lives a very interesting life lol

Dayne will end up marrying into most of the Dornish houses, but I do try to keep good relations with Yronwood just because I like them lol

Daynes and starks isn’t so unheard of I believe. Ned and ashara were atleast pals . But to not steamroll I could see why it’s be best to avoid

Ned and Ash are literally the only case that exists and it wasn't more than a crush. The Stark's don't historically venture south, so there's exactly 0 instances of Stark-Dayne marriage. When you consider it's practically 3/4 months of travel between Starfall & Winterfell, it's really no wonder the two houses have no history; they're worlds apart. Any marriage between Ned & Ash most likely wouldn't have been blessed by either father's - they'd need to elope - marrying for love with no political gains. Stark/Dayne matches are the stuff of Fanfiction for the most part and (aside from a very specific set of circumstances with Ned&Ash) don't make a lot of sense generally speaking. They're just too far apart with no past relationships At All and no political reason to Start such relations from the ground up etc. Edit: Gameplay wise "not steamrolling" is also a big factor ofc but the lack of in-character reasoning makes it an easy call. That said a Dayne does end up marrying a Stark later on in this series, but the stars align for it 🌟 and it's not the Stark's you'd expect 😉

It's kinda crazy that Howland Reed killed Ulric Dayne considering that one of my favortie fan theories is that Ashara's apparant suicide was not just to cover up R+L=J, but was also so she could go and marry Howland Reed. It's like in this timeline Howland killed his secret lover's brother so Ash stayed and became the Regent of Starfall.

If remember correctly, the Roxtons had one their family members on the kingsguard called sir Gyles Roxton who was the only noble on King Jahearys I's first line up of his kingsguard which the rest where either outright commoners or where lowborn officers in the then disbanded Faith Militant, and also he was famous for being the first member of the Kingsguard to use a spear rather then a sword!

Ser Lorence, not Gyles, but yes - when I say we don't know any Roxton's I am referring to during Robert's Rebellion & the events of the books :P Ser Jon Roxton is another (aside from Lorence) who's a cool Roxton, wielding Orphan-Maker and having a favourite quote of mine: "Lord Hammer, my condolences. You died in the battle."

Uploads are Sunday/Tuesday/Thursday for Crusader Kings, so Dayne will be Sundays. Hoare goes up Tuesdays and Craster takes Thursdays atm - other days of the week are either no uploads or other Non-CK content if time permits.

I wouldn't hold your breath :D I'm rather busy and I'm already doing a Dragon Age mod atm (+ I've agreed to help on a StarWars Kotor mod) but if I ever find lots of free time, I would certainly love to do a Broken Empire mod :)

No clue, I assume because Dayne has the "strong blood" generics that give either BlondeHair or Black with Purple eyes and it just bugged? The mod can be pretty buggy at times lol

It's because the "strong blood" flags in the files seems to be working only for alive characters, it disappears on death. Don't know if it works as intended or not tho'.
