One open point for CBU-s i am confused with is whether windcorrection is applied for the release point of the submunitions and on which datasources. In the A10 C II using CBU-105 which should be windcorrected, the submunitions drift away from the target. So there i think the bomb itself just uses GPS guidance to guide itself over the target, but does not take into account the wind to shift the releasepoint of the submunitions. Maybe this is not relevant for the bomblets of a CBU-87 or CBU-103, but surely for the CBU-97 and CBU-105

So i have a bucket list of this to do if this beast ever gets released... bombing H3 airfeild, jettison the AAR door, and all that. @Casmo could you do a fuel door jettison in one of the videos?

Wish ED would improve these (87/rockeye) effectiveness in MP. They're very unreliable. However having Burst Altitude and spin settings lets us tighten that spread up and thus make them much more useful. Same feature is needed for F16's JSOW CBU version. The 97s are monstrous though!

I was trying CBU 97s today and could designate in the radar but hitting designate in the Tpod screen didn't work. It was the sensor of interest and I could see smoke on the desired target from someone else's bombing run.

TY for video! Question coming from the hornet I could slave the pod to a waypoint through hsi . I mostly play PvE online . On the f15 are those waypoints listed I noticed I had 60 targets listed on tpod where you had yours listed . Hope this makes sense

I will say It seems these CBU 97s release a little early or not quite over their target unless this is user error on my end. I had a detonate height at 1800 ft and it seemed the CBUs dropped or exploded before they got over my target/tanks. Most likely user error but who knows

I just can't seem to make these things hit accurately. They're way short or way long and seem to only deploy at the specified height above the actual designated point and then keep going. Is that accurate?

When I try to select clusters bombs on the armament page, it doesn’t show the ordinances name on the pylon and it just says 6, so I can’t even use them, why?

calling CCIP 'CDIP' sounds like some sort of stupid patent/trademark/corporate-rivalry bullshit. Like McDDs decided they needed to distinguish their product in the F-15 from Republic/Fairchild's product in the A-10. Except that they called it 'CCIP' in the Hornet. I'd think it's an inter-service issue, except that the Air Force owns both the A-10 and the F-15. The only thing I can assume is it must have been some middle mangler on the F-15E software team with a personal bone to pick trying to make his resume stand out by Making Decisions and Innovating Terminology, which seems lie the sort of shit i'd expect from what i've heard aboit McDD's manglement culture.
