Marty Robbins knew Buck Owens when both performers were just starting out in the music business in the late 40's, early 50's....Marty was born in Glendale, Arizona just outside of Phoenix and Buck grew up in the Mesa, Az area before moving on to Bakersfield, California and future success.....

How many Marty Robbins fans realize what really made him so special in his genre? His abilities are so outstanding that they go far beyond that “beautiful voice” (which indeed is was), even though most listeners put everything down to that quality alone. However, with his absolutely perfect intonation and flawless, easy rhythmic lilt, one begins to recognize an almost freakish natural gift. Couple these with his ready melodic gift, by which he came up with many tunes along the most conventional of frameworks, which are actually original and highly memorable (it takes a BIG talent to do this), and the “beautiful voice” suddenly becomes multi-dimensional. Marty Robbins’ true greatness emerges as something even more special.

Oh, it's crying time again, you're gonna leave me I can see that far away look in your eyes I can tell by the way you hold me darling That it won't be long before it's crying time. Now they say that absence makes the heart grow fonder And that tears are only rain to make love grow Well, my love for you could never grow no stronger If I lived to be a hundred years old. Oh, it's crying time again, you're gonna leave me I can see that far away look in your eyes I can tell by the way you hold me darling That it won't be long before it's crying time. --- Instrumental --- Now you say you've found someone you love better That's the way it's happened every time before And as sure as the sun comes up tomorrow Crying time will start when you walk out the door. Oh, it's crying time again, you're gonna leave me I can see that far away look in your eyes I can tell by the way you hold me darling That it won't be long before it's crying time...

Got this song late in my years but surprised it was a Buck Owens original. This is real country music, not a single "hat" guy can match these country giants. Mary Robbins does a great version. Someone needs to be here before the next teardrop falls.
