Trade hold completely killed P2P trading and csgolounge. Remember the times when from zero to a knife was a thing?

Some of my fondest memories of Counter-Strike as a child back in 1.6 was finding the most vile pornographic image on Google to use as my spray when playing with my friends.

I am a fan of gloves, but to be fair, most gloves below minimal wear look disgusting. My friend spent like $1,100 on field-tested Vice gloves, and while he was happy with them, the only thing I noticed was how scuffed they were. They looked like a pair of garden gloves from the 1980s 😂

The problem of graffiti's is that they often deny your skin drop. Just how many times i do a weekly level up for 2-3 of these things in a row. It just made it less intriguing to play, just like they have added stars to operations, so instead of praying for a good drop while playing what you like, you are forced to some dumb specific missions

I remember how much people hated gloves back then, I thought they were sick since u see them 24/7. Bought a pair of 0.18 spearmint motos for $400 USD

At the end of the day cases with gloves are one of the most desirable cases in the game so I guess Valve did the right thing for themselves.. but it's interesting, I remember the original Glove Case flopped HARD when it was released and the only people with gloves I saw was pro players on streams lol, never in-game. The mindset of people on gloves changed a lot.

The system of graffiti is trash. Limited use and need to buy. 1.6 was much better.

you missed the change to the drop system after they added levels and xp system also, the worst thing about graffiti is that they have a 50% chance of taking up the weekly drop, at list you can trade up shitty skin and some time you might even get a decent one

Old custom graffitis were ofc better 100% Tf2 still has them, love the nsfw, r34 and meme graffitis Imo becouse cs is rated over 18 just add a option that disables them by default and that u can toggle off in settings

When gloves cameout I was so happy and wanted to buy 1 pair in FN But The only problem I faced was CSM valuing all of them at minimum 1k+$ & letting people deposit there. when you could get em on Steam market for way less untill people started depositing em on CSM. I always preferred gloves over knife since they are visible all the time.

I want wear values on agents! No fun when they all look the same! Valve, pleeeze fix. Imagine Ava looking like she got attacked by a pack of wolves. Battle scarred clothes....

I think graffitis would be much more popular if they weren’t limited use, as they are now I just don’t care enough to buy a cool (and some of the capsule ones do look kind of cool) graffiti if it immediately loses its value when I equip it

grafittis that drop from boxes should have infinite charges, or at least more, like 250 or 500. 50 is just a bit low

They still need to fix that trading issue. You could remove the 7 day trade ban from items and just apply it to newly unboxed items

On the graffiti subject... I always thought it would be so cool if in some mode, grafittis done by players stick around, and in starting a game, it would just fill the walls with graffitis previously put by players in earlier games. I have no idea how this would work or if it would, maybe it could just take sprays used by all the players in the lobby at any time? In competitive it should be disabled, and maybe make it a toggle, but imagine casual dust 2, with all the walls covered in player sprays.

"On/off" switch wouldn't work for custom sprays? It worked for not allowing player skins from operations as they can be exploited. Not sure what's the point.

no players did not set that price for gloves, valve made them insanely rare and expensive. Also the stuff with the float, i agree there should be float but on the gloves its insane. 90% of the 1000€ gloves still look very scuffed

7 days trade ban is actually good due to scammer, Few days ago a guy got scammed for Urus Ruby and went on reddit to report that scammer and now that scammed got trade banned. if there was no trade lock for 7 days, scammer could've easily shifted the Urus Ruby to some other account or sold it to someone else.

I may be the only one, but I do Like valves graffiti at least they make them look like graffiti and not just some png. and if we had custom graffiti it would all just be porn or anime stuff (meaning hentai)

You will never satisfy the CS:GO community. They want graffitis, added purchasable graffitis, the get mad. They want gloves, added gloves as a special rare item, they get mad. They want customizable player models, added agents, get mad. But I still remember why people are so mad about the gloves update. Because months before the gloves came out there are rumors Microsoft wanted to buy Steam for 2-3 billion dollars, but Gaben declined that offer and said "We would rather die as a dead company than being a sellout" or something like that. And the gloves update came out, it felt like Valve was trying to do what Microsoft are doing. For me I don't mind that Valve *added* more features/items for the game, but if they *change* or *remove* something, that takes the cake... It almost feels like Valve wanted to kill CS:GO or accidentally saving it by updates. Another great video man, keep up the good work!

In my humble opinion, gloves should have been launched with rarity levels, like the guns.

I don't know how relevant this is, but my least favourite update is the agents. They do look cool, but they ruin the immersion. There is a lore to each map, and hence a unique set of skins for players. It's the feature I found one of the coolest when I started playing CS:GO after CS:S. Also they can be terrible for visibility.

a more modern problem with sprays nowdays that was discovered from the TF2 community, ALL sprays that got placed down, got saved to your materials folder (i think) so that meant, someone could have say... a spray of some CP or some shit, and it would be saved onto your computer, until you manually removed it. valve in around late 2021 made it so sprays are auto-deleted upon game shutdown. yeah, so on one hand it was a fun feature, but on the other, was used super maliciously. im kinda in the middle of it being removed. for CS honestly, but god paid sprays are just gross lol.

Graffitis are fine, it’s as good as you can get for a serious game like csgo Gloves are fine People just want things to get mad at, nothing new I really thought csgo would end when they added the trade hold but it was for the better I just think they could lower the hold time now, like 3 days is enough already
