Unfortunately now. Sonoff needs a few features for it work. For example scenes can only be set if the a power consumption is more than a specific figure. Here we want the other way.

I got the R4 in-line sonoff model and it has programming headers exposed. I'm hoping my newly arrived S60 has the same as I want to reflash with custom ESPNOW firmware. The S60 looks like it might be glued together so it might be tricky to take apart to find out.

sonoff device... 4kw... probably peak? As you just said, i'm still watching the video... Would you trust to have even just half of that load, let's say a heater of 2kw, constant turned on connected to it? Otherwise 4kw is just a jimmick...

Yes, I know. I ordered myself a Infiray S2 Pro USB thermal camera. Maybe I can do some tests, although I don't really have a 16A consumer. Maybe my EV charger....

@@csongorvarga but even just 2kw, I would never go past half of declared load... An oven could be used with this, for 1 hour?
