Let's do something fun to promote one of my favourite projects in the Technical Minecraft Community, The Archivist, a group of technically minded minecraft players who have dedicated their time to making amazingly simple tutorials for useful builds. In this video we will follow one of their tutorials to make a machine that lets us slaughter the Warden mob on mass.

Why is that by the way? I mean, I don't care for them a lot either, since there are villager trades. But multiplying the templates now use a lot of diamonds and there is no cheap ways.

I don't know their server too well, but as a technical server, with heavy emphasis on the technical, I won't be surprised if they run world-eaters/tunnel borers to find diamonds

I feel like this video is targeted towards new audiences that doesn’t know about Wavetech much or is new to technical minecraft and such. Which is a good way to bring new audiences. Feels fresh to see you do simple stuff when you normally do super insane things.❤

@@cubicmetre Yeah I definitely agree that the archivists progress seems to be going slow but I’m really looking forward to the things they have planned I think it would make a lot of technical builds more accessible for the people outside of the technical community with the actual designer or builder being credited properly because that’s a huge problem that made alot of stuff inaccessible for alot of people (archive on discord and not published on other platforms etc.)

when catalysts were a viable xp source i had one of these set up and since it was an rpg themes server it would boost my combat xp like crazy it is worth saying you can multiply the farm speed by having a different player set an arrow at a different shrieker and moving them all to the same portal via water, i felt a chill down my spine when you broke a shrieker

I love this channel so much. I just started playing Minecraft a few months ago thanks to this channel, though I'm stuck with Bedrock. I'm motivated to bring this level of innovation and efficiency to my platform one day. Is there a mechanic with the end chest and tnt? Why is the bottom glass shielded from the explosion?

Ender chest is shorter than a full block meaning when the TnT explodes on top it thinks it is inside the ender chest which absorbs the blast

Blocks such a ender chest, and fluids absorb the damage of tnt to blocks

8:35 This not applies to flint and steel? With the thru-put of this farm, having the TNT drop down to the collection platform, after placing it against the dropshute with the mainhand, igniting it with the offhand, sounds way less work.

Flint and steel takes durability, plus I want to be able to distance myself from the drop chute so I don't get hit with sonic blasts

Nope, we're in 1.19.4 with experimental features enabled. Which is literally 1.20 without sniffers like 5 other armor trims

The elytra pattern is implemented in Kiku's mod as using a banner in a crafting recipe with an elytra. meaning any pattern you can make on a banner can be transfered to an elytra using the mod. When I made the banner pattern for the Aboriginal flag I was expecting it to have the red on one wing and the black on the other and the yellow split between the two, however it turned out to duplicate the pattern on both wings which made the pattern look very squished and stretched out. So instead I decided to rotate the pattern and must've accidentally crafted the banner upside down with respect to how it displays on the elytra. I wasn't really thinking about the orientation of the design because it varies depending on how you look at it and what animations the player is doing.
