Costco has had 3 different versions now, since mine. Pretty much all the same, except for the control panel. I really want one with a rotisserie. There are identical units, with different name that have the rotisserie. I think that will be my next purchase.

Hey Mario - Just got a shock today when I found out Jack Payne had passed away like 8 months ago. I was one of his early subscribers and enjoyed his channel and humor. I was sick on a ventilator in hospital with COVID 2 different times and my KZfaq days were few and far in between for last year, year and a half. Jack was a great guy and his passing has upset me more than I want to admit. Hope things are going well for you.

Mario - Nice to see another video from you. I have the Cuisinart Air Fryer Toaster Oven (1800)watt. Looks very similar, but has manual adjustments and knobs instead of the digital presets. A couple of things 1. I set the temp 50 degrees lower than normal. ex) I set for 350 if something calls for 400 2. Manual knobs quicker and easier to use than digital presets (I also have an old GoWise) 3. These cook an amazing pizza (remember to set for 50degrees less) 4. The crumb tray works great for crumbs, the drop tray works great for drips; you will learn =)

Yes, there are many variations to this. Even Costco has had three different variations in the past year or so. In the video I mentioned AICook, which has their own version with even a built-in rotisserie! Thanks for watching.

I use 25 degrees as a starting point to lower the temperature, over a regular oven. This Cuisinart Air Fryer Oven, seems to cook faster and hotter than the other 4 Air Fryer Oven's I have.

I just unboxed the Costco version-the CTOA-130PC3 model-but haven’t given it a test drive yet. From what I’ve been able to learn online, this sucker cooks HOTTER and faster than you think, making the presets pretty useless and in need of tweaking. I plan to start out at a lower temp and keep an eye on da food as it cooks!

I agree, it also takes a long time to cool down, so I leave the door open after cooking. I had someone get mad at me, for not using the presets and book recommendations. Fact is, this oven cooks faster than most and the manual is just a guideline, everything needs tweaking. I do notice a hotspot on the right side of the oven, so I recommend turning the tray, half way through. Thanks for watching!

Great informative video Mario. I have the Oster quick start toaster oven but it beeps so loudly at the end of cooking. I am wanting to upgrade to the Cuisinart Air Fryer Oven, can you let me know if this beeps loudly at the end of cooking please.

I guess it depends on your definition of loudly. I actually set an Alexa timer because I can't always hear my Cuisinart oven from a couple of doors down the hall. It's easy enough to hear, but if there's any background noise it may be hard enough to do that.

Good Video Mario Monti. The Cuisinart Model I have is the CTOA-130PC2 Toaster Oven Digital Air Fryer. It has the same Features as yours. I've never used one of these things before. I'm not a Cook, fact is I suck at cooking. With that being said, the Toaster Oven Digital Air Fryer is Overwhelming to me. Hopefully I can figure out ow to use it. LOL LOL

You will find that you're going to find tune your cooking over time. Even 6 years later, I'm finding little ways to improve with the air fryer and cooking in general.

I received this unit as a gift and only started to us it yesterday, have no idea how to stopp it ? I unplugged it but don't believe this should be the permanent solution!

If you need to stop it before the timer is up, press the start/stop button and the button will start to blink that's how you stop. Evening after the oven is turned off, the fan will still circulate the fan for 5 to 10 minutes afterwards to bring it down to a cooler temperature but the actual heating element is not on.

I assumevthiscis a 1800 watts unit, can it still plug into the 15 amp outlet and not trip circuit?

It's a 15 amp receptacle, however, it's a 20 amp circuit. This is typical of electrical wiring.

I prefer the digital as well, but if that is the only difference, it may be worthwhile. Looking into it, I had found identical looking units with different brand names, that have a rotisserie and digital display as well.

If it had a rotisserie feature, I would have grabbed it already. Too bad too, as there is a big coupon on it right now. There is a company out there that looks identical, with the rotisserie function. The name was like iOven, or iSomething. lol Thanks for watching!

We just got the digital cuisinart air fryer toaster oven and we just used it for the first time yesterday. It did get really hot but it didn't burn our food. We made veggie rolls that we got from Costco. It works really good. I have not tried to take out the crumb tray yet but I will next time. We have the two knob one. I don't know if you know which digital one that is. Couldn't you use aluminum foil under the rack on the drip pan for better clean up? Just a thought I had. Our Cuisinart preheats in five minutes. It takes a bit longer then what I seen in a video but we watched another video that said 5 minutes so. But its a really good product so far.

Costco sells a different version that’s a 130 rather than what you have toa 65. Any idea why I’m finding a different one at Costco snd tgsts both in California and Illinois?

I believe in my title and in the video I mentioned it's a toa-130. There is a newer model out, but it's something like a toa30 REV something or other. I would say that it goes on so often for about $160. The control panel looks a little different, but the rest of the unit is the same from what I can tell.

Some models are approximately 12 inches deep while others are big, deep 17 to 21 inch monsters which only fit in a corner. Does CTOA imply "compact" and TOA imply "deep?" Sometimes the dimensions posted on Amazon look incorrect. Where can I find reliable dimension information?

External dimensions are ~16"wide, 12" Deep (Really 16" deep, see below) 13.5" tall. Now if you add the front handle that protrudes, that adds 2" to the front. There is a kick-out in the rear for the bump out and cord management, that adds another 2". So the 12" deep is really ~16" deep. However, all that being said, they recommend about 6" of space free around the oven for heat reasons. This oven is bigger than a toaster oven, but not the largest I've seen.

@@m3rdpwr Thanks! I'm not really concerned about the handle but just the available workspace left on the counter. My counters are ~24 inches deep and a typical little toaster oven only takes away maybe 10-12 inches of that. These air-fry ovens seem to be deeper.

@@davejoseph5615 No question about it, many are deeper, except for maybe the GoWISE model shown here. The biggest difference is the amount of free space needed around the unit when in use.

I was just thinking about what you said. The rotary dial has indents, so it'll always make a type of clicking noise. It is not a digital clicking noise. Is that what you meant?

It has a more powerful blower that's why it cooked faster.

It's a slightly larger fan, that spins slower, therefore moving just as much air. That also makes it quieter. This oven seems to have more hot spots than other true AFO's I have tested, but that's not too bad.

I do use a shotgun microphone. However, since I'm standing next to the air fryer, the mix tends to pick up everything. The Cuisinart air fryer oven, is the quietest of the bunch.
