How to cure dandruff has been the subject of many articles and commercials. The problem is, they are always trying to sell you something. What if the root cause of dandruff was something that you could never cure by putting something on your scalp and hair? Well, guess what, you can never cure dandruff and keep it gone forever by putting products or prescriptions on your hair/scalp.
The cause of dandruff (seborrhoeic dermatitis) is coming from inside your body, and that is where you will heal the damage being done, and cure dandruff permanently. This video will help you understand what is causing your dandruff, and how you can begin to cure your dandruff forever.

I just realized that my dandruff is gone. Not sure when exactly it disappeared but i've been low carb for a year now. I used to be able to stick my fingernail in my scalp and scratch huge chunks of dead skin. I'ts so disgusting to think about now but back then it was just one of many things i had accepted as normal.

So with that said does that mean that omega 9 and 6 faty acids increase cell production and thus shorten the duration of time thoughout someone's life and increase the speed in which the hayflick limit of a cell is reached and lead to faster rate to cancer?

@@normakarina5123 have you listened to the video? The Dr states in the video that a shampoo might relieve your symptoms temporarily, but won't get rid of the issue. I know because I have suffered from seborrheic dermatitis for many years and have tried almost everything out there. For starters, I would recommend a good high quality non toxic shampoo such as Pure Haven's Detox Charcoal shampoo or Moogoo's Milk Shampoo. Both have helped me. However after listening to his video, I am going low carb and implementing his suggestions. Hoping to soon be rid of this frustrating issue soon. Best of luck! :)

The cure to sebo is overall immune health, not skin alone. So many have cured by this method that no one knows. Also dont trust every doctor. Cure is : 1, positive no matter what, your body releases positive energy and frequency, viberations that helps heal and maintain your horomones. Stress also breaks down your body, and makes horomones imbalance. I have done everything below but never cured. Bc i didnt do number 1, which is the most important. 2, eat healthy such like strong fermented yogurt( for the gut) and fruits, meat, dairy(if you can eat) veg etc. No junk food. SEBO IS NOT ABOUT YOUR SKIN BARRIER ONLY. its about your gut and overall immune health. I dont perfer eating a lot of noodles and ramen. Also brain and horomonal health imbalance causes your body to eat up oil on face.(which is why sebo is made) Danderuff, severe acne and harden teeth plaque, tonsil stone, oral health, is all related to overall immune health. Flossing will not cure tartar in fact tartar doesnt come off with floss. Shampoo doesnt help with danderuff. Brain and horomone balance is important, Which is why number 1 is important. 3. Pray to god, and say only positive stuff to others. Theres a saying, where unhealthy body is telling your spirit something. Have Unhealthy oral?, say positive only through your mouth. Do not go to the dentist and take drugs unless its needed badly. But oral, danderuff, sebo needs to be cured by inner health and soul only. If you got harden plaque try taking it off at home with steel if can or take it out at dentist. Its gonna make months depending on how severe your sebo is. But there will be joy in the morning so trust and live a good livestyle. Any questions?

Overproduction of skin cells also includes rough, dry-looking skin that needs regular non-abrasive exfoliating. Consequently, too much dead skin cells is also a factor to clogged pores which results to acne.

I learned it was the quantity of food that I ate that caused my body stress, dryness and rashes are from stress. I was a huge binge eater, have learned to overcome it by still eating whatever I want but in the amount of whatever fits in the palm of my hand, every 2-3 hrs. I’m no longer hungry, I no longer crave, grazing has saved my own mind and body.

what types of common foods we eat are carbohydrates and industrial vegetable seed oils?
@marlenegold280

@@Viewer13128 Examples: breads, buns, rice, potatoes, cereals, canned foods, flour, sugars, natural sugars, gravy, pasta (noodles), junk foods like pop, juices, energy drinks, potato chips, fries, dips and sauces with sugars and carbs, fruits, legumes, milk, ice cream, puddings, etc. … if it isn’t a meat like beef, bison, poultry, fish, etc. or a healthy fat, then it is a carb/sugar. I use Nizoral shampoo and used to effectively use nizoral creme but for some shitty reason they don't produce the cream anymore.. so i'm still looking for a substitute... try to stay away from cortizone creams because it weakens the skin and makes it thinner. same for hair. but in the end, sometimes I get stressed out (everyone does from time to time) and it just breaks out anyway... So excited to see you had this video on your site. Now I am stumped! I have had such an issue with my scalp that besides all the plaque, flakes and hair loss, now I wake up, out of a sound sleep scratching the nape of my neck. I have been a persistent IP going in between carnivore and keto for over 2 years. The only sugar I consume is a piece of cheesecake once a year on Christmas. I greatly appreciate all of your videos and the time and care you put into them. You are great to learn from. Never do I have any oils but tallow or grass fed butter and typically practice 18/6 on my IF. I just recently saw my physician for an unrelated issue and showed him my scalp. Seborrhoeic Dermatitis was his diagnosis with a strong shampoo prescribed. I knew better than to even get that prescription filled so I came home and looked you up. I have changes in severity but it never completely leaves. I can honestly confirm that I consume NONE of what you mention and haven't for over 2 years. Dr. Berry, can you think of any other reason this is happening to me? I would greatly appreciate any thoughts you may have. I worked in healthcare for over 25 years and know that's an avenue that leads to utter nonsense, so I come to you! Kristin

Great video, I have not had 1 doctor bring this up over the last 10+ years dealing with my kids. It's amazing what info you can find on the internet if you look in the right place. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you. I have just shared this with someone I know, who seems to have an issue with dandruff. I can see, without even asking this person, that they use sunflower oil, because it is supposed to be healthier. They use the so-called Healthy Spread, instead of butter. Wow, so many things you mentioned there, this person uses. So, without me even asking them, what they thought of this. I can see that this video, will help them. If they take note and make the changes. :)

Wow! So this is why my dandruff disappeared when I cut out all seeds, beans, and grains and switched to an animal-based, low carb, whole foods diet. I thought it was something to do with the anti-nutrients in the seeds and the sugar feeding this fungus, but the omega 6 oils makes sense. Thanks!

Honestly it might take some time. Initially I went low carb for the first time ever and lost the dandruff in a week and a half. Then I went on and off low carb and high carb for a year and a half. Then I decided to go carnivore. My dandruff got even worse but it finally left after 2 and a half weeks of consistent carnivore. It may take longer for some.

I had seborrhoeic dermatitis since the 2nd Grade. I’ve tired everything! From prescriptions, OTC and natural remedies. It embarrassed me my who life and the itch drove me crazy constantly. 5 yrs ago it started developing in my ears. I had a hard time with keto and IF until I work myself up to OMAD. It was easier to do keto with one meal. (Also taking probiotics and vitamin D) After 2 weeks I noticed a difference in my scalp. A month and a half later I barely have any dandruff. I’ve been so happy and relieved. I don’t have to use a lice comb for 30 mins after washing my hair no more. Also my hair has been softer and more nourished. @@marycooper9183 well in my daughters case I just called her ped doctors office, mentioned that she was experiencing hair loss and asked for blood tests. They tested for thyroid, iron levels and vitamin d. So generally you would just call your general practitioner and mention the problems you are having and ask to have blood tests to rule out nutrient deficiencies to start out with. I've had dandruff all my life. My mom fed us a sugar/carb based diet with tons of soda so I am a sugar addict. After watching your videos and a few others, I cut carbs and went into Keto, cut out al seed oils, now I'm just low carb. Achs and pains went away, I lost over 15 lbs and have a 6pack again at 44 years old, my dandruff went away and my rocecea went almost completely away. I went from having roceacea and skin problems so bad that my cheeks would actually bleed to it barley being noticeable. My blood pressure is now perfect! I feel as good as I did in my late teens or early 20s. The cravings for carbs eventually go away but I sometimes slip when hanging around the wrong people and I am weak. The problems, bloating and bad mental state start coming back very quickly, much faster then they go away from living correctly.

This doctor is so spot on.. I've been avoiding industrially produced seed oils for 2 months (for other health reasons and after watching other videos from other doctors about the same subject). My other female related health issue so far has greatly improved. Then last night I cheated on my diet with Burger King and a few low sugar yogurts for dinner. I woke up this morning with returning dandruff and severe itching that I haven't had in a while and was wondering why. I googled and came upon this video.. And its more proof to me that industrially produced seed oils are screwing up my system. I so wish all these fast food places and the fast food industry in general would stop using Canola and other seed oils :(

@Winter Zhukovsky, I am 62 and that the fast food industry was using tallow when I was a child. When I was older there was a huge uproar from activist types to stop animal fats and switch to “heart healthy” fats. It took a while (as I remember) but the fast food chains did switch over. Then the food never tasted as good. These do-gooders also recommended giving up eggs and following the “healthy breakfast” which was cereal, milk, orange juice and toast with a pat of margarine. All of this is true and it really works. I had a nasty case of seborrheic dermatitis since I was 13, on my scalp, face and ears. Of course I was a carb-lover with a cortisol level up the roof. Used countless dermatologist approved treatments but the seb derm was always coming back and all I heard from derms was that this is a *chronic condition that will stay with me for the rest of my life*. But then I tried to loose some weight and to do that I switched to clean low carb/keto to reverse my insulin resistance. I also worked on lowering my cortisol naturally and ate lots of anti-inflammatory foods. I already gave up on treating my seb derm but as I was doing my diet I noticed my skin cleared up, my scalp no longer had bad smell and giant yellow flakes, my hair started growing back. Didn't know it was related to my lifestyle change, but then I read studies on how carbohydrate rich diet aggravates seborrheic dermatitis. I've been low carb since last year and I've never been free from dandruff for such a long time. It's great that someone is finally talking about internal causes of seb derm instead of giving one of those gimmick advice on shampoos.

@@fatfullday Yes, I’ve been on keto for 3.5 years and developed dandruff. Not saying it is causal. Will try the sun on scalp. Maybe eggs, yuck.

I do not have dandruff but have seborrheic dermatitis and a very oily skin. I realized I am doing everything you said in the video including consuming probiotics. I can tell everything is getting better but there's way to go. Thanks for the good video.
