Use L-ascorbic acid powder (a pea size) mixed with 3-4 drops of ferulic acid- resveratrol. I use The Ordinary brand for both. Rule of thumb is not to mix vit c with niacinamide or retinol. So use them on alternate night or consecutive with one for a few night then consecutive with the other. Check out the ordinary's website for the list of these. Night ( retinol or niacinamide or vit c) Day (some say vit c is alright to use during day before sunscreen... but im not convinced... hearing different things from different experts in the field).

For example, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate for oily/acne-prone skin, ethyl ascorbic acid for normal skin, ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate and L-ascorbic acid for all skin types. Therefore, knowing the right formulation and concentration is always very important. And having a dermatologist to guide you on the same will ensure you are using the right product.
