Gotta add satin or silk pillowcase is a must! And realistically when I first started my hair journey I would hate to have to wear a bonnet or satin scarf so pineapple on satin pillowcase still works

I also looove brush styling with a nylon/boar bristle brush and sally beauty has one for $10!! The nylon bristles don't have the little knobs/tips on the end which I find so much easier to clean compared to a similar one I used by wetbrush that always caught so much lint on those knobs lol. Love all your videos, thank you so much for all the advice you give us! One thing I’ve struggled with is getting my kinda wavy mostly straight hair to transition. I do have natural wave in my hair, it mostly shows up in the shorter pieces near my face (My hair is long so I think it’s being weighed down) I’m just wondering if I even have wavy/curly hair that’s worth styling or cutting short to help it a bit. It’s also weird because there are a lot of times where when I wash my hair strands will come out that are perfect spirals but the rest of my hair seems to be almost straight and a little wavy just air dried 😕

Thanks for your list. Wondering about the bonnet you recommend. I'm still looking for a bonnet that's roomy, comfortable and that stays in place during the night. All the bonnets I've used recently (recommended by other curly hair care content creators) are comfortable and roomy enough, but they slip over my eyes during the night. I don't really mind it or even notice it till I wake up in the morning, but I'd prefer that not happen. Regarding the products you recommend, I'm admit I'm a bit leery of the Ouidad products, even though I see them recommended a lot. My hair looked like straw after a curly hair stylist used them in my hair. Could be they're just not for me.
