"Sokoban" is the name for the very first simple block pushing puzzle. This video shows many cursed games riffing on the idea, like 3D, 4D, and off-grid nonsense.
Effectively a sequel to my 'Gradually More Cursed Block-Pushing Puzzles' video.

That's probably saved for the later levels. There's no way a hyperbolic sokoban doesn't make holonomy an important mechanic, especially when the blocks match based on orientation.

Sokoban + The Comments actually started out great, but sadly it wasn't continued by the author. It had a bit of Jelly Is Sticky feeling to it.

sadly, it'll overlap some rooms because of the controls and the way those rooms are made

Yeah, since if you were to push a block down and then immediately move back up, the player is in the same position but the block isn't.

sorry to reply to a 5 month old comment BUT to answer what the full sokoban level museum would look like: there's a program called PuzzleGraph by runevision that charts all the possible puzzle states of a puzzle, which would do effectively the same thing it would take a lot of work to make sokoban in it though, it only has stuff like levers and pressure plates

id actually be interested in hyperbolic sokoban. the holonomy tech seems interesting and it would be neat to try and work around (also see: hyperrogue tutorial for tips on moving in hyperbolic geometry. no seriously)

Aren't the sokyuban levels just stolen from hyperrogue's sokoban mode? They look completely identical, aside from the hyperwave graphics.

I am one of the authors of Sokyokuban, and we designed these ourselves, taking some inspiration from classic Sokoban levels. At the time we released Sokyokuban, there was no Sokoban mode in Hyperrogue. The grid can be the same, since it's the same hyperbolic tesselation, but that is true for many hyperbolic games, and that's separate from the puzzle design? As far as I'm aware Hyperrogue still doesn't include Sokoban, although you can probably build it with the map editor? I'd be very curious to take a look if the levels are similar...
