Honestly, the concept of a rave train sounds pretty great. "When Thomas starts from a station, he sings, 'Oh come along, we're rather late, oh come along, we're rather late.' And the coaches sing, 'ACIIIIIIIIIEEEED! TUNES!"

3:10 Unpopular opinion, I think Day Of The Diesels actually created a pretty interesting take on Diesel 10. I thought having him as a manipulative character who could snap and become unhinged (like in Magic Railroad) at the drop of a dime was kind of cool… and then they ruined it by making him a wuss at the end of the film.

One time when I was volunteering at a railroad museum, I saw one of those SpongeBob Minis. It was Skarloey as Mr. Krabs. He still haunts my dreams to this day. Seriously, why is Mr. Krabs Skarloey of all characters? Is it because they're both old?

pretty sure I had some knock off trains growing up. but not like these, like they were off brand wooden railroad, but like metal and battery operated. not the official Thomas ones, but another brand. and they had sound and lights... weird memory that this video unlocked.
