DOUG, it's always a good time watchin you fabricate stuff! I just completed a log table for my splitter . To save a lot of money on metal, I bought a bed frame from the thrift store for 10 bucks . Sure, it took some time to fabricate, but as you, I enjoy it when a plan comes together.

That larger tree will create the need for a second axle, wider tires and clearance lights... Of course, I'm being silly. But, that thing is (I hate to say it...) cute! Great ideas and I hope the undercarriage of the golf cart is stout enough to withstand what you might do to it. Be well, be safe!

I have an older one and added white oak underneath the top lip to reinforce the sides- added a lot of strength to the sides.

I’m sure you designed this for your particular use case and terrain, but was wondering if you have enough clearance between the horizontal goose neck piece and the tailgate to traverse gullies and uneven ground. Great job!

Nice Doug.....with my small trailer I added 2 eye bolts on both top sides so I can use them as tie downs. Keeps all branches in the trailer.

Good job. The extra length is definitely a good thing. Although I think you might have to switch to a 2 5/8 hitch .

Nice job. It appears that the gooseneck doesn't line up straight with the original hitch. Maybe camera angle?? Gooseneck hitchs tend to crack at the point where the vertical and horizontal pieces come together. I would suggest that it might need to be fishplated in that area to withstand the stresses from being pulled with a heavy load. Oh, and I really expected that you would powder coat it. Thanks for the video.

Doug, I'm impressed with your ability to solve problems. On Rockhill Farm I saw your skid steer track tool. I was wondering if you are considering making and selling it. I would be interested if so.

Nice fabrication. In hindsight, shouldn’t you have done that with the larger plastic bed dump trailer that the big box home improvement stores used to sell for $150? They will hold way more sticks. I do the same thing with that trailer and my zero turn. I have to set the brake to hop off or the safety switch will shut down the engine.
