Custom UNMASKED PEACEMAKER & accessories (DC Comics/HBO MAX)
In this episode, Dan goes over how he put together a custom McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse "Unmasked Peacemaker" action figure. He also creates some new accessories... which the figure should have had all along!
After seeing the head-sculpt on the official McFarlane Toys Unmasked Peacemaker Suicide Squad figure, and how much it did NOT look like John Cena, I had to make some corrections, and while I was at it, I fixed his accessories as well, and give him some paint he was missing from the start. Most of these things, I complete for the first time DURING this video.

Very informative vid... We customize along the same lines.... I try to use as much McFarlane pieces as I can... And rather make my own than buy second party... I'm about to start 2 custom Peacemakers so this gave some more ideas.... Keep customizing...👍💀

I just couldn't stand for the goofy head sculpt he came with! Stay tuned, I'm working on Rick Flag next. He may take a little while because I'm waiting for a custom head in the mail, and he will require quite a bit of custom painting, but fingers crossed he will help fill out the suicide squad a bit better. After that..... RatCatcher 2.... 🤞🤞🤞

Great video man! I did the hot glue in the base of the head trick with a custom clone trooper once. Put Vaseline on the whole neck peg before I put it into the hot glue filled helmet upside down. The glue didn't stick to the neck peg while it hardened but it had enough grip to keep the head on and allow for good range of motion.

I bought unmasked and used mr. America hulk hogan's mask and sculpt to kinda make his mask he can wear it or hold it ..your way is much better lol

Thanks! Yours was a cool idea too. It would take some work to make it look right, but at least yours could be worn, possibly, mine can't, at least not at the moment.

It's the right size for the body, but the neck pegs aren't the same.

As mentioned in the video and comments, yes, a WWE MATTEL figure head WILL ALWAYS fit on a MCFARLANE figure body, as the McFarlane neck pegs are almost always smaller. Yes the Hollywood head would work, I've since gotten it as an additional head option. I know Toast plans to do the Black Adam switch you mentioned also.

Hello, just curious what specific colors/paints did you use? What’s the brand names? Colors?

Hey there, I thought I mentioned them in the video, but I must have cut that as I have them on screen most of the time I guess. Either way, here are several multi-color ACRYLIC paint sets that I bought from them. They are called "Game Color" and "Model Color," referring to model kits and table-top game miniatures and whatnot. The bottles are in the video through out, so you can see what they look like. The specific silver I used was called "72.052 Silver" and is under the "Game Color" label. The Blue I used was "70.899 Dark Prussian Blue," which is under the "Model Color" label. Both came in multi-color sets, one was a set of 16 colors, the other of 8 I believe. The Silver was in the 16-pack, I know that much. I don't remember which set the Blue came in, I threw out the individual packages and have them all in a drawer at this point. I hope that helps!

it is a slightly different shade and like I mentioned in the video, next time I'm dirtying up some action figures I'm going to dirty his arms and his neck up a little bit just to bring them a little closer to the shade that his head is. on the shelf I don't really notice it but in the video with the harsh lighting it definitely stands out a lot more.

Haha, actually, believe it or not, I do have one in the house. But I'm also not a tea drinker, and never really have any other reason to use it so I pretty much always forget it's there. I figure it's one less dish though. I can't really put an action figure into the kettle. So that's why typically I'll just use either the little sauce pan or a single mug.

@@VoidCityReviews but if u have the kettle in your room just boil it when u need it and pour what u need into a cup, that way if the water goes cold you can boil it again takes about 30 seconds, instead of putting a pot on a stove again, or re heat in micro again that's so much effort compaired to switching a kettle on lol
