Just an FYI for those looking to make these engines on the Fisher-Price website: with the discontinuation of Thomas Wooden Railway and the introduction of Thomas & Friends Wood, the "My Custom Engine" feature has been removed from the website. Basically, you can't make these engines any more. Sorry to break the news.

These engines were super cool, I only wish I got one before they were discontinued. Sure they were just recolors with different faces but the customizability made them awesome. Overall, it’s one of the most unique and novel items in the whole merchandise line and will be looked upon fondly by countless fans alike. Definitely one of Mattel’s greatest inventions during their tenure with the line

Hopefully Mattel will reintroduce these items. Sure, they'd be made for Wood and not Wooden Railway, and have some flaws, but those can be easily fixed.

This idea was pretty interesting. I like the shape of the engines, colors, details, and the faces are quite nice. Although I prefer buying an existing toy and doing customization myself.
