From what I can tell, replace the shrunk down knapford station with the actual station, and replace the horrendous turntable with an actual one along with the sheds and this set will be 10 times better. For an added bonus, use the twin signal track piece, include Edward, coal trucks, coaches and this set will come to life.

This set feels like a modern day take on the old "james goes buzz buzz set." Never had this set as a kid, but I know I would have loved it. Honestly love the turntable and coal loader

Great job Keekre. I throughly enjoyed the review and I do own the set myself. I really like the fact that is has many switches included and the exclusive destinations are also really nice. The turntable is the weakest part in my opinion and could've been better designed. Keep up the great work with these reviews!

Just picked up this set today from my local Tuesday Morning for $100! While I wish I could have gotten the set just a bit cheaper, I'm happy to have all these rare pieces for my collection as I'm a nut for both destinations and switches.

I would use that Knapford station signal box as a another extension to Knapford station because Knapford station has lines of track to go on or use it as Knapford junction.

This set looks boss

To be honest, this set reminds me of the A Day at the Works set, but even so, it needs a little more work to make it greater. I would keep everything relatively the same, but the first thing I would do is make the set a full rectangle by keeping both V switches and installing an X switch, but I would make the Knapford station building that would be like the one from the 90's(2 parallel lines running under 1 canopy). The next thing would be to install a Muffle mountain type hill between the curve behind Knapford and the Crosby coal tunnel. Next would be to put in Crosby station and a siding that ends at a ramp. Next would be to put a small yard, a turntable, and three special engine sheds next to Knapford station. The next thing would be to install some points on the left curve on the back line that lead to Brendam docks. Here's the rest of the inclusions for the set... Engines and other viechles: concerned Edward, angry Gordon, dirty happy Logan, Cranky, and a cargo ship. Rolling stock: 3 red brass Band branchline coaches, 6-8 troublesome Crosby coal trucks, 2 troublesome oil tankers, 3 troublesome bubble soap tankers, and 3 sodorline cabooses. Figures: the brass Band, 7 passengers, Mr. Bubbles, 6 miners, 12 trees, and 5 workers. Destinations: Knapford station, Knapford yard, 3 special engine sheds, a turntable, 2 stop and go stations, the Crosby coal tunnel, 2 Crosby coal hoppers, the coal yard, a Crosby coal car loader, Muffle mountain hill, the bubble factory, a guard shed and gate, a Crosby switch tower, the Bandstand, the oil depot, the docks, and a water tower. For an accessory set, this would include a shocked Duck, a sad Duck with shaving cream on his face, shocked James, 2 Knapford express coaches, 3 troublesome box cars, 2 open troublesome trucks with shaving cream crates, the Spiteful break van, the breakdown train, the barber shop with white wall size doors that blend into the wall for when Duck crashes, 2 special engine sheds, a barber, 2 customers, a worried Gaurd with a whistle, Sir Topham Hatt, Lady Hatt, and 3 workers.

The coal depot reminds me of that Time in season 6 when Percy....

The coal loader reference to Toby from Calling All Engines has also happened to Percy in the episode Middle Engines where Henry bumps him on a similar way as Toby

I think this set is awesome and I'd kill for one. As of now these are super expensive online, Amazon is selling the set without the book for 800 bucks which is way to high for any thomas wooden railway item. These were never at discount stores in Canada which is a shame.

I would love to get this set or even the James sorts it out set. I hate the fact they never made it to the UK. I could of used Logan to make Raul.

Great Review On Another Sodor Story Collection Set. Yeah, Edward could've been included with this set to add more like the book and Your incorrectly said The Crosby Coal Depot which is similar to The Coal Depot, Featured in Calling All Engines. Actually it is first featured in Season 6 in the episode, Middle Engine (which we shouldn't speak about how badly treated Percy was in the episode) When Henry backed into the trucks on the loading ramp.
