As somone else mentioned there's most likely someone who could fix it for you but in the mean time, if you have something else that can use the microphone to record audio, you could record audio separately and then sync it in post. It's more work but you would be able to keep the better audio.

Nice work. The orientation looks weird. An MGA doesn't normally have a flip cap, but typically a flip cap would hinge on top, allowing the angled fuel filler nozzle to sit in a stable position with hose leading over the bumper, and the same would work for the charging cable.

If your camera has a built-in mic, you can record audio and sync with a separate audio track. Adobe Premiere has a straightforward "Synchronize" feature that will automatically sync up audio tracks. At that point, you can just delete the poor audio/unusable track.

@@ElectricSuperCar Your lapel mic if it has built-in memory (my DJI has that, but I'm not sure whether your RODE does). Otherwise, you can get a cheap digital voice recorder. I've had good luck with the Olympus WS-853. Still, your primary camera needs to be able to at least record a basic audio track, even if the quality isn't great. Otherwise, you have nothing to sync up to.

Probably you can still use your camera and record the audio in a separate file and join it during the edition? Is a bit more work but a workaround to be able to keep using your camera. (Although cellphones nowadays have great quality and your video quality is still great).

Jeremy, please note that PLA parts will become soft when they get hot (or even warm). I lived in AZ and had PLA printed car parts fail when they became soft and deformed after being exposed to an afternoon in direct sunlight. A better option is to have a 3rd party print them in PA12 / Nylon 12 using Multi Jet Fusion 3D printing. You just download your STL file, and they send you the part. You'll have to shop around for someone who will do low-cost one-off parts. The company I used In Phoenix seems to have gone out of business. They did a part like that for $9. PA12 will hold up to the heat, PLA will not.

Be aware that jumpstarters that detect reverse polarity require at least some charge in the battery to activate. If the battery is completely dead they won't do anything without putting them into some special mode so do read the instructions to find out how to do this!

That's a clean plug install. Authentic styling, good choice. Will this car charge on the tesla network now that there is an option for other EVs? Do you control the output KW, or is that flexible through thermal management. I'm wondering if you're charging on the road at how many KW.

If you want to keep using your camera, you can, you just need to pair the recording system with another device, phone or laptop, and at the begining of the recording clap two times, and in edition make the claps sync with the sound, that's it, the only issue you could have is you would need to do that for every video you record, so would be better to try and record as much as possible from one unique take. If you want some help, I could help you, drop me a comment :)

All these dealers will sell you motors, controllers, batteries, BMSes (usually the Orion and nothing else), and bits and bobs. But no one makes a 1772 socket to fit into an old car's gas filler.
