Screaming with helmet is the way to go imo. Love the concept, the translucent resin effect and the light up feature just takes it to another level.

Love the rage pose and portrait, the light up base, the paint looks great in the pics I have seen and the sculpt looks damn good. Excited to hear your take on it. Wish I could own this piece!

I love the base on this one, I feel the light-up feature really makes the whole statue which is super cool😁 often lights up really just do not make sense to me but this one is Epic! The open mouth face is by far my favorite, I'm confused by the closed mouth grumpy old man face but I imagine some people probably love it so options are cool🤔 Super cool statue overall🙌👏👏👏👏👏

Well I definitely love the the lighted up base with that purple color on it. It helps to boost the emotional level of the concept of this piece. They did not get the paint job perfectly but with the dynamic pose of the figure, along with the flowing cape and pieces of what is supposed to be floating metal fragments. It does help to take away from those defects. The base is great, showing that destructive power of magnetism, when it is wielded by the mutated force of Magneto. The only negative thing about it is that those fragments of metal doesn't visualy define any particular object that is recognizable. Other than that nice base concept. Once again they tried to excuse the high price by giving us not 3, not 5, but 6 portraits. For that pose only 4 of them makes any sense. He can't be just grumpy when he is shown flexing so hard because of the level of power he is forced to use. Do love the battle damage helmet. It brings the look to the concept way up. Hey Mr X nice going on getting #9 out of 97 that is fantastic. Of course the piece is not 100% compared to the price but it does gets a 4 out of 5 and very Xtremeish.

I'm surprised how tough you are on this one, but I can understand the price souring you a bit... But for me, this is one of the coolest statues I've seen on the table in a while! The rage pose and screaming head, the floating and ripping metal, and that glow! So badass, and I'm not even a Magneto fan.

Agreed. The base is too vivid, takes away too much from magneto. It's like an abstract painting altogether.

I guess Magneto so pissed off after fell into a tank of glue. I wish he was lifting something bigger when he is this angry. So, while still awesome, his emotion and the base do not express perfectly.

I usually like him in the air so this woild have been a pass for me but the light and if you put that damaged helmet with the screaming head. That would be a hands down a wow X-factor magneto. Thanks for the video Mr.X.

I really like this Magneto statue the only thing I wish is like you said if we could just remove that battle damaged helmet and put it on the screaming portrait. If we could make him float that would bring it over the top but still for the light-up feature and all the metal hovering I really really like it

It costs way too much i agree. But, it is an amazing piece imo, simply becase A it's a unique concept (hundred hovering magneto pieces out there with his hand pointing away) B light up is amazing. Looked around for a long while at different Mags, this was the one made me "wow, ok i need to get this".

What character would you say you’re the number one collector of? I didn’t like this statue but after your review and seeing the light up feature it’s badass. They probably didn’t think about putting a remote to turn the light on.

Price is wack but I feel like the movement of this and it's concept are just amazing... also great use of lighting effect IMO

In the comics it’s also been said that he flies via interacting with the earths magnetic gravity field. The other way is what you described, as seen in the X-Men movies. It’s nice but I have problems with the cape, it looks super thick and plasticky, at least to my view, I get it’d have to be quite strong to keep the shape and hold the metal that’s “rising” from the ground. The battle damaged portrait with that face doesn’t really go with the rest of the statue, it would go so much better with the portrait where he’s totally enraged.
