Contact the bank that took over the foreclosure. Tell them you have services unpaid and you will put a lean on the home until it’s paid off. It will help if you have some proof or documents and the bank will pay you because they can’t do anything with it until a lean is off the home. Simple phone call or a visit to that bank will do and $80 is pennies to the bank just to clear any hassle.

@M R you can file it yourself, the paperwork can be found in your courthouse. You also add any legal costs onto it. I've done this many times after the housing crash in 08. If done correctly there is very little cost to the business owner.

It's sad you lost money on that job, and I remember this customer from last season, because you mentioned about not seeing the money. I also wondered at the time why you went back and did it again when you didn't get paid for the last job. I think you got burned an extra $40 because you went back when you shouldn't have bud. These people were obviously down and out at this time, and probably lost their home. I doubt they wanted to burn you by not paying, but something happened and they lost everything. It happens to the best of people some times. Love that hedge trimmer and all that came with it, and for $400, I would have bought that, esp for the extension. Happy that the new season will be starting soon. 😀👍

I don't even have a truck or trailer yet. I do about 25 yards a week. Which at $40 or more a yard is good for me since I work by myself. And you can expand on your services overtime. Try bringing some burlap or a tarp u can cut into strips or whatever and lay it down before you start hedge clipping then less gets into mulch or soil, roll it up and unroll the debris into a leaf bag or whatever. And I also like dealing with grasses in that manner much cleaner and tidier. And if you take a pair of regular hand shears or clipping shears and circle around the grasses after the you get the bulk out you can shape them up nicely and more ball like.

You are very smart to use battery operated tools, that is all we use now too and I don't think I can ever go back to gas powered equipment.
@mikerotch67333 жыл бұрын
Why
@carbuff813 жыл бұрын
@@mikerotch6733 A lot of reasons why, after every winter season, I have the hardest time starting up my gas powered equipment, the gas powered tools are noisier, the smell of gas on your hands and clothes, the vibrations from the engine that make your hands numb after a while, the gas powered tools are heavier in weight, and lastly you always need to make sure you have gas cans laying around and if you don't you have to head out to the gas station to get more fuel, also some tools require you to mix fuel and oil which is also a pain. With battery operated tools, you just stick in a battery and go, once the battery runs out you put it on the charger and grab another battery.

I had one tell me he had a customer rip them off $15,000 on a complete Backyard Reno. Took it to small claims and lost and had to pay lawyer fees, totally insane. Wish you luck my friend!!! Great video! Maybe a bit of advice if I may? Never really a good idea to use a Chainsaw blade for the ground (telescopic in this case when taking out the Rose stumps) as it will blunt the teeth on the chain. Furthermore, a more fast and less time consuming day of getting out small to medium shrub stumps or even tree stumps would be to use a Matock tool (apologise for spelling) or a pick axe of some description .
