Hello, just a quick note of thanks for this video. I have a 2016 Z51 in Night Race Blue with factory silver painted wheels. I purchased the same 1/18 scale that you used for the video. Using your instructions I was easily able to paint the wheels to match perfectly. So now I have a lifesize Vette and a scale version that is a very close match! Thanks again good job on the video!

The door panels are easy to take off, get a small flat head screwdriver and wedge it carefully in the corners til it pops out. There are two metal dial pins typically on the door itself.

Didn't require dismantling. But the end result was very good.

I have the same corvette but I turned it into a Michigan State police car. Broke the whold car bown. Replaced the wheels. Added a push bar and take down lights decals.

u can remove the door panels by using a small flat head screwdriver and placing the head betwen the the edge of the door panels and the the door itself and and twist the screwdriver and pry in an upward direction and they'll come off

Hey man, great video. I am trying to paint the white z51 wheels. I want it to match my dads car and am trying to paint the wheels silver (they come black). I was planning on using adhesion promoter then right to silver. Do I need to spray the wheels white first or just paint right over the black? Thanks.
